to make a slideshow use the ulead gif animator by collecting all the pics (in gif format) and placing them after each other...

that fading effect is one of the filters in the photoshop..so if u use photoshop 6.0 then i can tell u but if PSP then i don't know

Ok. For the Lightnings, I found a pic over the net with lightning clouds and set it as my background and I blended everything else. As for the font it's name is Laserian. Hope that helps.:)

You obviously use the Clone Brush when placing the players over the background, I suggest you make the the Brush Size smaller, this way you can get the exact transition between the player, the background and the players background. If you know wht I mean.

I still go back and read through the post though every now and then....I post at www.tutorialforums.com though, even though there's a lot of really immature newbies there now. Still a good forum though.

Those pics look good, however I know what could make them look a bit cleaner and professional. If you have Fireworks or another program that can do the following then try it:

Select your image and then set the effect to Inner Bevel (with a Smooth edge) and set the width to about 5-10.

Try that.

The Judge (me) sets a topic u have to make a graphic about... then I set the rules of the "fight"- like your not allowed to use a different image, or you have to use this and this and this to represent that... then people vote who's is better
