Nice work man! Did you make it in adobe photoshop?
The True 05-02-2002, 02:16:AM Thanx, Guys.:)
Silencer 05-02-2002, 06:31:AM Lovely lovely stuff indeed, I love v Nistelrooy in the centre and Becks, grrrrrrrrrrrrreat work, I've already downloaded it:D
Gareth 05-02-2002, 10:52:AM Now the key to this fantastic piece of art is that Viduka is on it :D
Anyway this type of stuff is better than that pick-arsehole, I mean he only did squares and stuff, not really art if you ask me :p
Amika 05-02-2002, 02:36:PM great stuff indeed... top quality...
zigazagga 05-02-2002, 03:07:PM True - great stuff indeed. I was wondering what resolution was this aimed at? Only I'm on 1024x768 and it looks slightly like I'd imagine an 800x600 image would.
zig :D
The True 05-02-2002, 09:25:PM 1. yes. it made with Adobe Photoshop.
2. the image here is only for presentation, the menu in FIFA will fit any resulotion. enjoy.
zigazagga 05-02-2002, 11:54:PM Err, I beg to differ.
I've just looked at it in EAGraph... and just an educated guess but I'd have to say the fact it's 8-bit, might have something to do with it looking fragged. Interestingly enough the original in 2002 is indeed 8-bit, but 2001 was 16-bit, so I wonder if this could be also, or if there's a way to get it in without the break up of the tones?
I've included a bmp snapshot for ya:

zig :D
Vishal 06-02-2002, 12:19:AM True Pal can you make one title menu for the Italian and La Liga ?
Thanks a lot ;)
The True 07-02-2002, 01:30:AM this is not a desktop wallpaper.
it's FIFA 2002 title menu, so the it's 1 size to all, no matter
what resolution you use on your PC.
if you mean the distorted colors,
that's because FIFA 2002 menus uses 8 bit
instead of 16 bit like 2001 used to.

zigazagga 07-02-2002, 02:11:AM True - I think we clearly established these facts some point up the thread.
Point being more how did EAS achieve that original image without the detail fragging out then? There is an answer somewhere to this predicament, whether it be the inability of EAGraph to handle certain conversions/palettes, or importing a different format than usual, I dunno. I do know however, that it's possible to view the image correctly in Photoshop in 8-bit without the tonal fragging.
Someone else must posses the resolution to this [no pun intended] ;)
zig :D
The True 07-02-2002, 02:38:AM you can use bright colors,
white will be white excact as it is, and any bright color will be as is.
Hakeem 07-02-2002, 04:19:PM the size of the title menu is got to be 640x480 and no 800x600 like you said beforethats why its screwed!
The True 07-02-2002, 10:11:PM Musa... I didn't said you're stupid.
just said it incase that someone thought it's an wallpaper.
now, as I've said, it's a bit distorted cause EA uses 8 bit
instead of 16 bit like in fifa 2001,
it got nothing to do with resolution.
but if you'll use white and light colors
it will look o.k.:)
