whether or not he hates or likes Galatassory, Turkey, chicken or potato salad is not important. What is important is that portuguese football gets some recognition because it deserves it. They have the best goalkeeper in the universe in Peter Schmeichel and Vitor Baia is also one of the best keepers in the world as well. Mario Jardel is the top goal scorer in Europe and will most likely win it again this year. The Portuguese league is not the greatest league but neither is the Scottish League and look how much publicity they get. You can put Scotland and Turkey together and they still wont beat the Portuguese National team. Neither of those countries have a more talented player than Luis Figo or Rui Costa so please guys enough with this Turkish crap lets only talk about countries who still have teams in the champions league.

The game with Turkey was in 14th June of 96, at Nottingham's City Ground.
Fernando Couto got the ball from a corner kick and stroke the ball into the left low corner of the goal, winning the three points for Portugal.
Previously, they had tied with Denmark, with whom they're been playin again for a few minutes. In that game the Danish scored first after a bad kick from Baía, and Sá Pinto only equalized (with z or s?) in the second half with a header.
