Voodoo's are always cheap and reliable, a safe bet.

sadly that voodoo is no more... you can only find nvidia's product in the market nowadays... geforces series is the best bet...

Really? I did not know that. I guess you do learn something new everyday.

Yeah the nVidia's are a great product, they are used in the Xbox console and work a charm, a little steep on the price but well worth it.

Yeah it's dead since at least a year ago, they were nearly bankrupt i think, but nvidia bought 3dfx and now they get their engineers, so they're better than ever :p

To answer your question, 130 € is not very much, i would suggest you to get a geforce 2 mx 400...but you can also have a Hercules 3D Prophet Geforce II Titanium 64 Mb DDR for 145 € or something like that, if you can give that money, i would suggest you this card...(and 145€ is the prize i saw for the retail version, i'm sure you can get the bulk version for 130 € or something...).

Hope i could help you...

man dont waste your 130$ save it and when youl have a bit over 200 get yourself a new geforce 3 ti 200
yeah the geforce 4 is out but it aint a big improvment and also instead of COMPLETELY wasting your 130$ on a card that will only be able to let you play old games at respectable speed you should get something more future proof but if your desperate and cant wait i suggest you the kryo 2 a bit more expensive then a gf 2 400 but WAY better but id still rank the gf3 as #1 on my list

The bottom line is don't waste money on a cheaper inferior card and expect top results, the Gforce Cards have set the benchmark and the current standard, so this is the way to go and in the longer term you save money by not having to keep replacing the low end cards.
