What do the other AUSSIES think?

Da twig man spot on ... the only player i'd like to see in there is Cahill from Millwall and maybe Joe Simunic i cant remember who he plays for , and maybe Mile Sterjovski from Lille instead of archie thompson... It sucks though that so many young Aussies are using the system to get to the standard of overseas clubs then turning there backs on Australia ... ie Simunic wants to play for croatia and Cahill wants to play for ireland ... even though the y were AIS products

Yes, I would have to say that Tim CAHILL in there somewhere also, I forgot about him, perhaps instead of Jacob BURNS? Not sure, but a pretty good side anyway. Mile Sterjovski would probably be better then Thompson as well, that would be a great team!

Yeah, It sucks with that system. It is also crap because Australia is to damn far away for everyone to travel to, thats why Viduka says that he wants to concentrate on Club football instead of International.

AND! Vieri is Australian! (from what I hear) He went to Italy when he was 18, and in my opinion he is proabably the best striker in the world at this point in time. So there, AUSTRALIA have very top class players! Kewell is ranked 37th I think, not sure about Vieri though!

World Cup u can use 3 subs from 12 (i.e. those who don't make the starting XI are subs)


BTW, Vieri is Australian but is half Italian

I still think that Viduka and Vieri would be a great forward line up!

Yeah, I know that mate. I just said that it's up to them where they want to play and if they don't want to play for Australia then they don't have to. Most of the Australian soccer players are from other countries anyway. Half of the team now are Croatians.

Richie Williams??? The guy has no skills. And where is Landon Donovan in this list of yours? I don't see Mathis as a striker for the Nats. He is more of an attacking midfielder. I like your starting lineup with the exception of Mathis as a striker. Cobi Jones is over the hill. Put Mathis as AM and replace Jones with either JOB or Landon Donovan. I would put McHead in the starting lineup with JMM. You need a target man.
