First off, open up the kits.big then look for the three types of files. They are pk***.fsh for the front ,back, ect..., then sh***.fsh for the shorts, and then sk***.fsh for the socks. They have a couple of files for each. All you have to do is take your custome made kit and rename as the above files. The same complete kit file can be used for all three. The game will only use the elements for what the file is meant to use. The only drawback is that the crest file will not be used, but if you put it directly on to the front of your shirt instead of seperate then it will show up. Kind of confusing, but easy when you do it a few times. If you want, you can also make a .fsh file with only the required elements in it then use them. enjoy!!:crazyboy:

My tribute to the Portland Trailblazer NBA team, I named them The Beaverton Trailblazers F.C. after my home town. Its also my first kit that I have ever made, what do you think?

No, you can edit up to 42 of the kits, if you look at the kits.big file you will see pk***.fsh. There are 42 of these kits. All of them have a different design. If you make a kit and put it into the main file folder after renaming it to lets say pk041.fsh. Then go to the creation center. Got to team creation and pick kit number 41. The only thing is that you can't change the colors of the kit like you can with the others so you have to edit your kit out of the game. With the shorts and socks, there are only around five or so files, so its still somewhat limited, but great if you only want to create one or two teams. Hope this clears things up for you.

amfl98, which file contains the custom made teams? Are they differentiated in such a manner to allow the insertion of other teams from someone else's creation center? Thanks again for the information.

I would love to help you, but I just don't know. I can't be bothered to make up a bunch of people to play on the team, and have heard to many horror stories about drafting the players from the game. I'm sure there is a way. Try to create a team, then look in your user folder, it might save them there like all of the save game files. I would think that they would have to send you the kits seperate from the data file. SORRY:(

The custom teams file is called FIFA02 and is placed in the USER-catalog. It doesn´t contain the kit in itself, only which kit the team uses.
Does amfl98 know what happens if you try to insert a file extra in the big-file, instead of overwriting one of the existing?

phufighters, I think that I will leave that up to the expert patch makers. You might want to try a program like eagraph or the like. I just started getting into the customizing of fifa 2002, so there is still alot I don't know. If anyone might know how to edit the FIFA02 file then please tell.:crazyboy:
