i heard from ESPN that AC Milan may go bankrupt due to the debt and they are going to sell 17 players to clear the debt... is this true???

What did their new coach have done? Absolutely nothing, he had worser record than Fatih Terim. It takes time to settle a new team you know. It is impossible to play a great football with a new team, that never happened in the history of Football, probably the italian side did not realized it back than, its to late now.:rolleyes: It took 3 seasons for Fatih Terim to settle gala. Italians should know this better than anyone else, football is not just signing great players or new coaches in 1 season, that will spoil the team no doubt about that. It's actually quite simple. Investors propose clubs the purchase of a player (Vieri, for instance). Sometimes these investors hold 50% of the players licence, others 75% and even 99%! They can also pay a part of Vieri's salary. However, they will have a word on the when the player will be sold and to whom. Of course, they will get ther fair share of the Vieri's sale profits. What clubs get: good players for less money. What investors get: buying Veri to Juve for 500000€ and selling him to Atlético Madrid for 10000000€. [I made up those figures] These deals can be worked out in several different ways, involving percentages of advertising deals players get (lke in Figo's case), etc. How do I know this? Because Benfica has no money and they keep on buying good players. One of their investors had a disagreement over Jardel not coming to their club with Benfica's president. He spoke on TV about the whole deal, and when asked how Benfica cuold buy such an expensive player, he revealed how they work things out. Gotta go check the records cuz last time I checked, in during the 90s Milan won 5 scudetti (sp?) while Inter one a grand total of 0! (Last time Inter won one was back in '89 I think). Milan also made 5 CL finals within 7 years (and not that I want to sound boastful or anything, but cmon that is some record!) winning 3 of them. If current times are supposed to refer to the current season, then I'll be the first to admit...Inter are better... but you seriously can't judge a team on ONE season only...rite? If so then Man U would have been the club of the century and not Real (unfortunately, its rather mindboggling that they came in second...they did place second right?... instead of Milan....but that's another story...)
