Hi, neovico, I read in the fifa-faces board that you know a bit about 3d modelling. Do you know how I can obtain the headshape mesh so it is viewable in 3d Studio Max, or a different program??
I have all the code, hexadecimal and everything for the head, but I can't find out how I import it into a 3D program.


Please help me if you know because I am nearly on the way of doing a 2GF face!!!

You don't realize how ****in frustrating it is when people like you say this. I know Diego has a tutorial coming but I don't want to wait for that, because Diego is very unreliable, he mostly speaks out his arse.

Hey Thomas....two points:

-The method that Diego is using is not a 3D method, i talked with him, and he said that is not needed any 3D aplication or knowledge of hexadecimal editing. I suppose that he will explain his method very soon.

-The way more reasonable, easy and with best result to make a perfect face, is, not only retouching the texture, u need to retouch the headshape on a 3D modelling program as 3DstudioMax or similar (is used for make games). There u can edit the headshape, the body, the animations, all....But, for the moment i know that there´s not any plugin to export shapes of fifa to this program. For me is the best method, u know, Quake or HalfLife models, u can do all the things that are in u mind, for example make a Predator or Terminator model and his textures (Photoshop) for to play on Quake or similar. But as i said, there´s not a plugin to export the EA games shapes to any 3D program for to editing, may be on a future the EA boys will think about this and will released a program or a plugin to export them for its editing. Anyway, people creates a lot of programs for to edit Fifa, may be them could create a plugin or program for to do this things.

I will stay alert about it.

returning to our topic, so does somebody apart from su majestad Diego know how to edit the head shape???
I've been trying hexadecimally, but without success :(

i was unsuccesful in gettin a headshape into 3ds max. trying to edit headshapes using text and coordinates is hopeless. when i talked to fede about diego's technique he said that he was able to get a headshape into 3ds max. i'm not sure if i misunderstood or something.:confused:
