Dennis Taylor a critic who writes for the TALK OF THE TYNE independent Newcastle United online site and the GEordie Newpaper, had this to say about Arsenals awesome display yesterday agains new castle

...but Arsenal are a mighty force at the moment. Not just in midfield but in every department of the game. How can we pick fault with them? The only criticism you could aim at them is David Seaman's hair is too long!

about Arsenals victory of Bayer Leverkusen..

The Mirror {a very well known tabloid in Britain}said.
'SUPER ARSENAL'S ART ATTACK! '

ARSENAL turned football into a refined form of art last night and painted a picture bursting with colourful dreams of European glory. The flamboyant strokes of the Frenchmen Robert Pires and Thierry Henry and a deft finishing touch from the old Dutch master Dennis Bergkamp produced a series of stunning goals which ought to have been, well... framed.

The EVENING STANDARD - The UK's most Prominent weekly afternoon and evening newspaper said.

'ARSENAL'S CLASS A LESSON TO GERMANS'

This was a breathtaking, 24-carat gold Arsenal performance and prompted Bayer Leverkusen coach Klaus Toppmoller to pay an unprecedented tribute to his conquerors.

In more than 30 years covering European football I've never known a beaten coach give such a generous and sincere compliment to an English club. "You have to acknowledge and admire the class of Arsenal," he said. "They were tactically very good. They anticipated well, they were very compact in defence and in Patrick Vieira they had a player who won practically every fight in midfield. It's not surprising every top club wants to buy him."

The TIMES - an internationally renowned British Newspaper said this.
'ARSENAL'S SWEET MUSIC LED BY HENRY'

ARSENE WENGER claimed this week that the leading clubs around Europe were starting to regard Arsenal as equals and, just to prove the point, his team last night produced a performance that should have turned respect to fear. This was a display of such sweeping beauty that it could be set to music. Robert Pires, Dennis Bergkamp and Patrick Vieira were all outstanding but leader of the band was the majestic Thierry Henry.

Indded, music, i'd certainly agree with that, they are in awesome form...well done to the Gunners. My next favourite team is Deportivo La Croruna (shame they are in the same group) but Deportivo are up against the wall next Tuesday at Highbury...I now tip both Arsenal and Deportivo to go through.

Coming from a neutral I think Arsenal are the most exciting team in the EPL today, I don't see anyone beating them in the premiership in this form, not even MAN UTD. Before I use to make sure that I could watch every manu game, now its all about arsenal, their football is so beautiful to watch.
