....game is being developed in Osaka by the team responsible for ISS and the forthcoming ISS 2 - Major A.

It 's Konami but not the makers of WE/ISSPE/PES, so i don't expect much of it.

Besides with Disney's characters?????
Football game for kids??

The US has the resources and population size to be one of the best teams in the world - if only they could look beyond being world champions of team sports that they invented and hence tend to play more than anyone else. Why is it called the World Series btw??

Football (as in proper football, the game that you prodominantley kick a ball with your foot) may last 90 minutes but at least there is only a 15 minute stop - 45 minutes of attention really isn't too much to ask is it?

Why the world series is called that is another debate, I don't want to go into it.

But 45 min of attention is too much to ask for...if you ask advertisers. WHAT, no timeouts? no TV timeouts? heh.

But seriously, there is a generation of americans coming up that have at one point in their life or another played soccer or were associated with soccer in one way. Just go around the country in the summer, you see little kids from 8 years old playing organized soccer. These kids will soon grow up and (i hope) there will be a shift in preferences so that soccer gets a voice in media. It is really about demand, if a lot of people are willing to watch soccer they show the game to us. Right now, we are a decent few that will take a sick day to catch the champions league final, or pay that $20 bux to watch and international frienldy or pay extra for digital cable to watch skysports news and other soccer games.

I switched to DirecTV at the beginning of the NFL and I am happy I did. I now watch soccer on Fox Sports World all the time. The wife doesn't like it but oh well. I started getting interested in soccer during the 94 World Cup and I haven't turned back since. If I could turn back the clock I would have played soccer in highschool.
