Hakeem 09-03-2002, 06:29:AM hi, the second generationfaces tutorial created by diego is already translated and it'll be ready to download probably tomorrow.
Its in english and in spanish too but we (el_gallo and me) are waiting for diego to decide whether to put a direct link here or wait until tomorrow for socceraccess as the downloads over there are not working, but the good news is that is ready and you'll enjoy it very soon!!!:) :D :D

Whell about the tutorial I hope it be usefull to give you an idea about 2gf, I made this short tutorial a bit mad becouse some comments that I saw, IŽll make a complete one with pictures (much more precises) and many tips.
I think IŽll not edit any more, it was fun for me for a while but some things takes out the fun...
I promise you that a complete and detailed tutorial will be made before I be out of this.

Diego just because some people are *******s don't let them ruin the fun out of editing. I know what you feel and I have been there. I haven't really done anything for a month now as well. But don't let these things effect you. It's all good just do your thing and ignore the giles.

ChRIsA 10-03-2002, 11:31:PM Ive downloaded the tutorial and its great, but is it possible for you to decrease the sections down to about 10 lines rather than 30 because I cant tell what 1 individual line does on its own.
Its still a great tutorial, but I think if I knew what each line of polygons does on its own then I could make very detailed faces.
it's a good tutorial to show what the lines of polygons mean on the actual face.
BUT, it's gonna be hard.... hmm maybe the export to 3DMax and mesh edit would be easier

I open the file up in word, then I highlight all the lines with the polygons in object 1, then I go to format and bullet points and numbering and choose numbers.

RECOMENDATIONS:
Well, as you should know The idea of the 2GF was of Diego, and toghether with me and with other guy (Juan), decided to make ALWAYS THE SAME KIND OF SCREENSHOT.
try to make it you.
Make a screenshot base in layers, and each time you make a new screenshot, use that base, it's more professional.
oh, and try to put the face screenshot when it's very near to the real one.
so, everybody (or almost) will give you good comments.
Send the faces to FIFA-faces, if you want, and to FIFAExpress.

ChRIsA 11-03-2002, 07:47:AM This is very hard to do, Ive been trying all day, but I just cant get the faces to look good. They just keep messing up because the parts from one face dont fit with another.

I use the note pad from windows, the standard size of the window is 30 lines, so u can browse with page up and down keys(30 lines), BUT remember that the last line is again in the next page.
A saw a comment about editing the eyes, well my friends that is the most dificult part of the face, the polygons are in all the f***g code..maybe my new pics will help you.
