Hi, is there anybody in here who can write quality PHP? I'm good at writing html but I'd like to learn more about PHP. My first question is if PHP is usefull when you don't have your website connected to a MySQL dbase?

If there's anybody in here who can write good PHP, can you please teach me how to build a quality website with navigation (i.e. index.php?catID=photos&pageID=manutd). Or maybe you have some good links to tutorials.

I used 2 be a prohosting member before, but I heard that many are saying that their server and site suck.....I had this problem before and that's why I switched to another host.............:rolleyes:

Try my way........Find a new host....

for starters i am a great believer of www.brinkster.com, i am not sure what others think but i believe they are reasonably fast, 30mb is good for a site without downloads, NO ADDS at all!

also, i need a download(s) server, for my downloads, has to be reasonably fast, preferably with php, cgi, cgi-bin, and other luxuries :)

also, thats unlucky about chriko, can't of had too many members.

For me DK3.com is the best host service provider but they do have some stupid conditions........

brinkster have cgi-bin i think, and some other stuff, but they are good for basic stuff etc . . .

i'm still in the process of getting the site up... and my idea is to gather a few liverpool's fan site to share one forum...i'll contact those webmaster in the meantime... i do have some experience in setting up a forum when i setup on for my own personal web site using ubb at my own free hypermart account so i guess that shouldn't be a problem.. the problem now is web space...

i guess monday will be fine.. as i know it is good friday 2morrow... have a nice weekend...
