anyone can help me?
Dhruv 24-03-2002, 05:46:PM there are plenty of ways to make grids and all the grids are of variouse shapes and sizes...
for e.g.
create the wallpaper that you want ,
then make a new transparent 10X10 pixel image and then using the line tool draw a horizontal and a vertical line using whichever color you want intersecting each other and after making it go to >Edit>Define Pattern and save it
now open your image and go to >Edit >Fill and thats it
i can some you cool tutorials if you want regarding this...
emmer 24-03-2002, 07:50:PM i know dhruv does not like filters so much, but there are filters that make grids easily... :D
Acid (X) Amino 24-03-2002, 07:56:PM Cool mate,

yes i don't like filters but you have to beleive me that there are no filters created yet regarding grids. Now you might think why i'm so confident about it.
thats coz' i asked the same question to Shlomy ( The true) when i started using photoshop last year and he told me the best filter regarding this was to use halftone pattern vertically and horizontally .:)
and you all know that Shlomy is a pro at this so can't argue with that.
making grids isn't such a big deal and its very easy ...
hey crackerz , no man i'm tired of he website creation thing..better leave it to the guys who know how to make it.I think i'll concentrate on Photoshop only..:)
KADER 25-03-2002, 04:46:AM thank you Dhruv :)

i understand your point and i think using halftone pattern is a very good way to make grids as well, but what do you mean with "there are no filters created yet regarding grids"? :(
Dhruv 26-03-2002, 10:26:PM "there are no filters created yet regarding grids"?
yes there are no filters yet made for grids...you have to make the grids yourself...
emmer 27-03-2002, 06:40:PM i keep confused about this...
maybe i am not getting what you mean with "regarding"...
isn't this a filter "regarding" grid? :(

hahaahha....yup ! its a Grid indeed !!
Good work man....
Dhruv needs to take back his words :p
My theory about Filters/Plugins/and other aids is ---
If they help make your work easier and better looking in lesser time with similar or better effects of doing everything using basic tools ........GO AHEAD AND USE THEM......
I mean....Why not ??? it doesn't harm in anyway...and doesn't take away your creative skills either....

Ditto !!
Emmer please tell me where did u get that plugin....or wahts it called :)
emmer 28-03-2002, 09:22:PM sorry for the late... i got this filter here: http://showcase.netins.net/web/wolf359/plugins.htm
you need to use a program such as plugin commander to convert the plugins to photoshop (or another program) plugin format.
you see there is a LOT of filters there and you may think it's impossible to get them all. i did it. but my photoshop crashed after i tried to install all of them (+1500 i think - each file you download gives a few plugins).
the grids filters are inside Filter Factory Gallery C and S. you can find them easily pressing CTRL+F and typing "grid" :D to Explorer finds it to you.
