So did this ever get resolved.
I dug out my old FIFA 98 RTWC to play a LAN game at his house over the wireless LAN. We installed the game (v 1.0). The games run.
Added the IPX network protocol. Now we both can get the "Initiate Network Game" option going. I can then see the blank "message box" and see my machines name, and the X at the bottom that goes back.
So what do you do ?
I assume one person initiates a game, then the other can join, but I cannot get through the initiate game sequence.
All I can do is click my machine's name (which changes the text from white to yellow. Nothing else doable.
Is there an FAQ out there?
Is it that we are both playing off of the same CD (one is a copy of the original CD) ?
