View Full Version : Small Leagues Messed Up

The small(er) leagues and national teams in Fifa2000 are quite a bit messed up. As an example, the small country of Israel and its leauge and team : the league teams are completely inaccurate: The wrong people are in every team, the qualities are completely wrong, and noone looks right. Huge clubs like "Hapoel Haifa" which beat the giants BESIKTAS and AJAX is a wimp, as is "Maccabi Haifa", which advanced 2 years ago to Cup Holders' Cup quarter final stage. In contrast, clubs whose players are mostly amateurs are twice as good. And, of course, the names that are there are in wrong positions and numbers.

Same as the national team: Israel, a team which rarely achieves any accomplishments (and recently lost 8-0 to Denmark in aggregation) is much worse than portrayed in Fifa. And the wrong players are playing, and even they look wrong and have wrong numbers.

HOWEVER - I must congradulate EA sports and Fifa on an absolutely incredible accomplishment of doing what they did! Getting all the stats of all these teams from the far reaches of the globe and assmebling them all into the game must be a ton of work! Considering the proportions, they've done quite a job! Keep up the good work!

Perhaps someone can make kits for "small", "local" leagues. For example Portugal's league isn't in there (and her league is quite a bit better than Israel's) and even their 3rd place, the beloved Sporting Lisbon, is missing from the "rest of Europe."

Thanks!
