are u using lan ?
did you set your TCP/IP like 192.168.0.1 and subnet mask 255.255.255.0 ?

Thanks for the tip :) , but I do not use a LAN card. I use a 56K modem. But what I would really like to know is that whether you need a LAN card for multiplayer matchup. Are the TCP/IP and Subnet Mask settings related to LAN settings?

ohh ,you can play via TCP/IP (with LAN card) if you have two computer and its cheap, if u buy it u can ask them (the local store) to install it ! but if you only have one computer (based my opinion because u use modem ) I don't have experience about it, my suggestion is mail them "Support17@ea.com" .

:) you can play 2 players match up with two computer using two LAN card and connecting between them ! the benefit ?

its fast than a modem multiplayer match up ,but at least you need two computer to play games with two players !
