this was taken fro the PCZone interview:

"Do you learn much from other football games?

Wlodyka: Absolutely. We look a lot at Pro Evolution Soccer and This Is Football - all our competitors for that matter: each has its set of strengths. We're listening to consumers and building a game for them, finding out what they want. "

OK, so you're looking at games like Pro Evolution Soccer and still have this crappy gameplay system?
So, you're listening to us?

I think EA spend too much time playing games, instaed of making them.
They play on games all day and when the producer comes in they all start working again. Then when it comes to the deadline they just get the old games and add a few new bits to it, and call it a new game.
