Who will buy 2002 FIFA World Cup and who thinks that the demo will be the same as the final release, I sure do! :f***: It's not that I don't like the game, I think EA have done a good job, but when I play the demo it feels empty, like it hasn't been finished, something is missing. I think it's the heading been f*cked and the shooting been too easy.

My friend who's an ISS fan and who's got PES says the tackling is 'messy'. He says if you're lucky enough you can get past 3 players and that makes it 'messy', easier is a way.

What do you think?

I voted 'MAYBE' as I always end up buying their games, despite not liking them. If my Birthday wasnt the same day as the release of wc2002, then I wouldnt buy it, but as I will have some money I probably will.

I'm picking up WTS 2002 today, so I don't think so.

WC seems like a rip-off. There are only a few modes of play and fewer teams! It might be worth something to pick up for the PC if they really improve the game, but it looks like a big step down from WC 98.

If they merged FIFA 2002 and WC improving the gameplay/AI/difficulty, it might be worth it for a good arcade game with a lot of options.

Otherwise, I don't think so.

Looking at the Poll, most people say No and Yes, though Yes is the most common, I guess some people are stupid or genially want to buy the game, either because they like it, or they have no other choice of which football game to buy, as they only own a PC, or PES isn't available in US, which it is not.

I bet that the people that do buy it will come back in a month and say EA have f*cked up, it's crap, etc, I want this, I want that, it happens every year and every year we are disappointed, well, f*ck football games, like someone once said in this forum and I apologize for forgetting the name of this person, but he said:

"Play the real thing"

So I'll take his advice and play more of the real sport instead of trying to simulate it in my living room!! :crazyboy:

Even PES doesn't FEEEEEL like you're playing football, it only feels difficult and that isn’t football, only longevity, which yes, is something EA can't even produce, the replay value in FIFA 2002 is SH*TE!

The only way that I will consider purchasing this title is if I can play the World Cup with more than one person, as in not by myself, they left that out of 2002 and that was the single most annoying part for me. I can understand that most FPS (first person shooters) are single player because of the level of detail in the games, but a foorball game, nah not good enough. Oh well, I'll just have to wait and see.

Look most of the fifa-fans will buy it! Since there is no something more for the computer! Ok it's better than the others but not the best! I don't know if i will buy it! Maybe just for editing!:mrpimp: :rockman:

But the headers kick ass!:f***:

I won't buy wc 2002, and I won't even try to test it because EA really made me hate fifa series, and I have much more interesting games to play right now: Heroes 4, Medal of Honor and GTA 2 with a friend in Germany, so f**k FIFA or WORLD CUP!
I hope no one buys that game, because it doesn't have anything that would make me play it for more than 5 minutes, every part of the game is so fade, it's a blurred game.
Let's teach EA a lesson and maybe they will try to make a game that at least has something interesting (gameplay, atmosphere, anything, I really don't care much about graphics!).
