couldn't have it said it better myself. Frankly there is more Drama if Skonto Riga beats ManU 1-0 at Old Trafford, then if Juve beats Barca at Nou Camp.

CHampions league is a farce, so is UEFA...then bend over backwards for the Serie A, Primeira, and Premiership..when German clubs are clearly the best run and best clubs around!

What do you mean about UEFA not respecting Germany last time I checked they were third ranked league and had just as many teams qualifying for champions league as Italy and Spain.

Also I think the mix we are getting now as far as teams is just about right in my opinion. If it wasn't for UEFA right now there would be no more Champions League but the bogus coalition of Big 18 or whatever in European Super League. And guess how many teams from Latvia or Ukraine or the majority of Eurpean countries are in this coalition? None! So before you criticize UEFA for what happened, realize that the alternative, this European Super League, is much worse.

The way Bayern reached the 2nd phase was pathetic and Borussia Dortmund and Bayer Leverkussen never even remotely looked like qualifying for the 2nd phase of the Champions League. German teams only perform well in the UEFA Cup, that's were even Bayern belongs really. Apart from Silver last season, Bayern have sucked in the champions league.

Lets not forget that Bayern played like crap last year in the 1st phase and turned it up a notch the rest of the way. Watch Bayern go right back to the Final this year, and do not forget that Germany will WIN Euro2K!

They've got to come up with another name for it. Now that 2nd placed teams are in it's not a Champions league anymore.

Call it Super League, (by the way does it really matter what they call it? Its like those people arguing about why they call it World Series if only American teams play in it or why they call it Super Bowl if the trophy is not a bowl, but some funky football on a pedestal thing.)
