Try look on Lycos.com.

They allow you to upload up to 25 mb I think. The only catch is all pics must be in .jpg format.

The problem is that there's quite a few places that give you free space to upload pics to, but then they don't let you link to them from other sites, which sucks if it's sigs you want to upload

Yoursighost.com is the only place I know that allows that

ah geez :D

I have a good case though.....

While my sig may appear to be larger than the specified limit, however it is in fact not. Reasons:

1. The majority of my sig (about 60%) is actually transparency, which is not only invisible, but does not make up any file size. so it's there, but it isn't. Therefore, if you were to calculate the area that it takes up, it probably even smaller than 250 x 70!

2. Also, my sig is saved in PNG format which is more efficient, so if you look at my file size, it's smaller then most of the sigs in these forums, so it won't be my sig that will take forever to load on a 56k.

This is my argument, if ya don't like it, take me to Judge Judy! :D :p

I am a cheap lawyer... but a good one :crazyboy:

I already said somewhere, that the size (meeaning 40 kb etc)should be important than size (meaning 250x70 pixels)...

It's all about how fast it loads, right?

Some 250x70 sigs are more than 40 kb, and we could make bigger sigs that are 20 kb...
I think that should be what matters: How much the sig takes up!

That makes sense. After all, the purpose of limiting sig size is so that it doesn't take too long to load for those still using 56k modems, but not having a limit on file size kinda defeats that purpose..

I can understand having a limit on the dimensions of sigs so that people don't start using HUGE sigs that are like wallpaper size...but I think it would make sense to maybe increase the size allowence, but putting reasonable file size restrictions. If you save in .png format, you can get exellent quality images with .gif type file sizes..

maybe this is something we should discuss in the boardroom?

Yes, I think you both have a point. I don't see why we can't, at least, discuss this issue.

Oh, and don't forget to deposit the cheque, ok? :)
