I hired it yesterday and spent an afternoon playing the Playstation version.
I dont know how to describe what its like. The graphics are not as good as Fifa 2000 and it has only overhead, sideline and end on camera views although adjustable in distance. The game plays smoothly and the controls are different to Fifa 2000 in that you need to be very specific about how hard or soft you pass and you also can easily over run the ball. Basically in some respects its more like real football because you dont get the ball played automatically to your feet. i think i like it but it will take a few more sessions to work it out. It has a good training section where you earn points which then give you certificates so you can open sections of the game. It has a large number of international sides from all confederations and a selection of main European teams.
my advice would be to hire the PSX version first, its a little different. its hard to play at first if you are used to Fifa 99, 2000 etc and you have to relearn all the controls. Give it a go
