A very well deserved award for my fav player on the planet. I don't know what Arsenal would do without him.
The best line from the article was "It is no surprise that his current purple patch has coincided with Arsenal looking like title favourites again because when he plays well, Arsenal play well."
Ain't that the truth!!!:D
Congrats Dennis, you're the man:)
For all Arsenal and Dennis fans, I have a great desktop
wallpaper of Dennis at my goal gallery. Look for "Arsenal Super Dennis.jpg" I think the wallpaper says it all...don't you agree?:)

Dennis deserves nothing less, finally some respect for the man after almost a year!
Open your eyes now Wenger, this man belongs in the base line-up. Way to go Dennis :D

I'm happy to see that people that support clubs other than Arsenal are happy to see that Dennis got this award. Though we all aren't Arsenal fans, I don't think anyone would be opposed to having Dennis Bergkamp on their squad!:) Finally, some well deserved respect for a legendary player with MANY loyal fans!
I bet Arsene Wenger is feeling pretty stupid for not having started Dennis more this season. We probably would have had the title sewn up by now!!:) Consider the fact that we drew 9 matches that we probably would have won with Dennis' influence on the game.

i think everyone likes and admires bergkamp because he has awesome skill undoubtedly but he also has a good temprement rarely gets cards esp reds, and respects the players he plays against.. i put him in the same class as zola and Shearer not saying that they are as good or better just good players to have in the EPL

You're right too, IceBlu. He could have made the difference that would have gotten us into the quarter finals of Champions League. :( I guess it just wasn't meant to be. :)

I was just talking to someone the other week how it appears that Arsenal's run of form is down to Bergkamp. You could have your Henry's, Pires', and Viera's, but it's Bergkamp that's driving that team to the Premiership title with his goals, passing and vision.
A fully deserved player of the month.
But I still think that Zola's back heeled goal in the FA Cup is goal of the season, probably followed by Beckhams' against Deportivo last week now.
If only Wenger would rest him and play Kanu for a couple of matches, United might just slip into top spot, of course we'd also need Liverpool to drop a couple of points here and maybe there. :D
Thompson and Houllier did well too to get Liverpool into the 1/4 finals of the CL.
