Acid (X) Amino 08-04-2002, 09:51:PM Oh and can I use Flash to design a sig and can I put it as my siggy???? Will it be supported
Thanx
IceBlu 09-04-2002, 07:14:AM Photoshop beats PSP hands down......no question about it....
Photoshop gives more professional looking effects than PSP...
for the tools and techniques of Photoshop goto www.teamphotoshop.com
and about Flash.....no this forum does not support flash for the simple reason that it has to support even slowest of connections .......
Mauricio 09-04-2002, 01:34:PM if im new in this, what program should i use?
::shinji:: 09-04-2002, 01:40:PM Yeah man, PSP is more of a 'newbie' type program, while Photoshop is the industry standard when it comes to graphics..
BTW....has anyone here ever tried a program called 'GIMP'? Apparently it's very similar to Photoshop and is a free download! I've never used it myself but people I've talked to who use it say that it's really good. It's supposed to be a Linux operating system program, but there's a windows version available as well...
Official GIMP site --> www.gimp.org
Download windows version from here --> http://www.gimp.org/~tml/gimp/win32//
El_GaLLo 09-04-2002, 03:31:PM Have you tried MAYA Shinjii? :D
http://www.aliaswavefront.com/en/Tmpl/Maya/html/index.jhtml;
:mambo: :mambo: :mambo:
Maya Personal Learning Edition gives 3D graphics and animation students, current industry professionals, and those interested in breaking into the world of computer graphics (CG) an opportunity to explore all aspects of the award winning Maya Complete software in a non-commercial capacity.

Then you can come here for some filters and tutorials. :D
::shinji:: 09-04-2002, 03:51:PM I've actually downloaded that learning version of Maya, but never got around to installing it, I do that soon though..
I been too busy trying to figure out why my version of 3D Studio Max doesn't work on windows xp..:(

heres how
Goto www.discreet.com and download their XP patch over there.
Its for 3Ds Max 4.5.
U can download the 4.5 update from the discreet website if u have a licenced version , if not .....Kazaa :) ;)
I personally like 3DsMax better than Maya.

IceBlu 09-04-2002, 04:14:PM its called C-Dilla update for XP
that C-Dilla bullcrap ate my head for 3 days .....:mad: :D
IceBlu 09-04-2002, 09:05:PM Gimp really is a good program.....but needs a bit of getting used to....but if u have photoshop i don't see the necessity of Gimp.
Acid (X) Amino 09-04-2002, 09:06:PM Gees guys.....

As they said.......PSP is a 'newbie' type of program......
If U can master it, then proceed to Photoshop...........
I suggest PSP7 for beginners........(Very easy to learn)
also any kit makers, PSP is in my opinion quicker and better for kits. However adding sponsers and even sometimes collars to kits, I often use Photoshop.
As kits dont usually need many cool effects, u r better off to use PSP7 for the majority of them.

(But I love PSP7)
WIth phothoshop and it wasn't so easy i have psp 7 pro and now i try it and i see it's a powerful program altought photoshop beats PSP cause it has more effects filters and tools!
But PSP is easier to learn and has some things that photoshop asn't! If you press on the retouch tool you can use more than 10 tools many shapes for airbrush take the example made with airbrush and the font tool!
C:\My Documents\ΝΙΚΟΣ\Big brother 2.gif
Thnx
The psp format was bigger around 400kb and the gif 330kb!
Thanks again!:)
