What a bloody incredible match. I can't even be upset that we're out - what a performance by Leverkusen, I hope they win the whole bloody thing!!!

We should have defended much better, but Leverkusen were irresistable, and yet we still had the GUTS to pull ourselves back into this match. Ze Roberto, Ballack - man, these guys are awesome, too bad they won't be staying at Bayer for long.

Well done both sets of fans - neither of whom shut up even when things weren't going right for them.

I am really disappionted, I really wanted to see an all english semi final. I thought Liverpoll would do it. I cannot believe Houlier took of Haman, as soon as he went of the goals started going in. He was the one that was protecting the back four. Liverpool had more chances(Owen and Hesky) to win the game I think, but all in all bayer deserved it. Ze Reberto is just world class. Liverpool fans should not be unhappy, to get to the quarter final in their first effort for a long time is a good achivement. Just look how many times arsenal have tried to get there in the past decade.

What a dramatic game, hopefully manu can fly the english flag now.

well what can i say? we are out ! What a match Leverkusen really deserved the win undoubtedly ..if we had of got through on away goals i would have felt lucky..... houllier said not to blame owen so i wont but he had alot of chances.... anyway i hope leverkusen win it to or Barca

well.. it is the worst defensive display by liverpool for a long long time... i still can't believe that we let in 4 goals... and really our defence is for the first time crappy... :rolleyes:

but as i said during the 2nd group stage... i don't expect us to get through but we did and i certainly don't feel disappointed that we lost this one... the only thing is all the missed chances that owen have missed which has prove costly... and certain decision that i still don't understand... why substitute hamann for smicer??:confused:

anyway.. we will be back next year... and considering this is the first year we took part in this competition and getting to the quarter is a great achievement... only leeds has done better now for the first time playing in this competition... now it is time to concerntrate on the league...

dont write off leverkusen to win the whole thing .... they were very very good and have some excellent attacking options... Lucio should get a nationa lcall up for the world cup if he plays that well every game !

Well, I never really liked Liverpool never will. Nothing against Leverkusen, execept spoiling our CL hopes!:mad: :crazyboy: They have been a real suprise packet, sort of like Leeds last year, except Bayer are doing, very, no wait, extremely well in the Bundesliga.:p Well out of Bayern Munich, Depor, Man U, Real, and Bayer, I'd like Bayer to win most. Lucio has been playing like that, ever since he came in the Bundesliga. At one point, I think, when he first came, he scored like 4 goals in 2 matches or something like that. I didn't know if he was a diffender, or an attacker. He's one of the best "defenders" I've seen. It would be great to see Bayern Munchen against ManU in the final again. Although, I hope Leverkusen wins everything, I don't know if I would want to see a rematch of the 99 final. So it's either Bayern against ManU or Leverkusen against Madrid.

Liverpool is not at the highest level yet to play in Champions' League. They are not good enough against Leverkusen.
But, it is not really bad at all Liverpool can make it as
Quarter-Finalist in this season.
