Watch out, that twat terrorcop might come into this thread and cheer as well.

By the time he is back to his normal self it will be 10 weeks at least :(

I bet the corned beef FA slipped Duscher (Deuschbag) some paper bills in a lunch bag. At least now Simone can come back and play the worldcup in peace :(

SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO MADDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD

I really hope he can recover in time for the world cup, nowone can replace him. Duscher was not even bothered to play football.

yeah it really sucks. big time. Beckham will surely miss the rest of the ManUtd games. So he won't be there to help ManUtd give themselves a chance to win the Premier League. He won't be there may ManUtd reach the CL final. And I heard that he will be out untill 31st of May so that means that he will miss the WC preparation and the first groupstages. I'm feeling very sorry for Beckham, England and most of all Manchester United and it's supporters.

England will have a big trouble in the WC if Beckham is still not recovered in 8 weeks.
It's better Sven Goran Eriksson finds another good English
right winger/midfielder for the time being.....

Nowone can do what Beckham does, but whe can use David Dunn, Dyer, Owen Heargreaves, Joe Cole or Trevor Sinclair for the time being. So whe have some options.

Beckham is more than just a good right winger.

He is Englands symbol .....

It would be more than just losing a good player from Sven's point of view.

This left a bitter taste in my mouth...the Deportivo players are a disgrace to fairplay! I mean after last weeks challenge they should have learned not to do that and ...now they broke his foot. I was so eager to see England driven by Becks to the WC2002 :( now what a **** am i going to watch if England lost it's engine and symbol. **** YOU DUSCHER!

Well, hopefully Beckham's powers of recovery are as good or better than those of the Divine Ponytail, but then again, that's just wishful thinking. Does anyone else see unfortunate shades of the great Marco van Basten?

it is a delibrate act of violence... to disable england's best midfielder.. i didn't watch the match but i heard that it was a argentina player that made the tackle.. sick SICK!!!!

This is terrible... I dislike Beckham as much as the next guy, but I would never wish him harm.

Deportivo should be ashamed of themselves. And whoever tackled Beckham should recieve some kind of ban.

WHY WHY WHY WHY?

What the hell happened here??!!
Those f*-cking BASTARDS of Depor did it again and now it's more severely than last week!
It's a tragedy, again an attack on Becks with no intention to play the ball at all!!
BAD NEWS for England indeed if their captain can't play at the WC, dammit he was the one who made it happen for England in the first place.
No beautiful freekicks in Korea/Japan, no fantastic passes from the right/left wing.
I can't believe this happened and i really hope that he will recover in time.
It's totally sh*t for ManU as well, the championship in the EPL is not secured yet and now they have to play the semi's and the final ;) without Becks.
I'm really pissed about the whole thing :f***:

MUAHAHAAHAHAAHAHA! Out for at least, at least, half the World Cup, so that is the best case scenario. Bad for Man U and worse for england! Hehe...... Nothing against England but they are a semi threat to other countries chances, (eg. ITALY:p ) of winning.

They still are mate although I have to admit that it will be harder if Beckham won't make it :(

Seriously I think they will lose in Quarter Final, if they get a good draw, they willlose in Semi, not a big threat. Who is the first team?

DL: Ashley Cole
DC: Ferdinand
DC: Many different picks, no one outstand, (my view)
DR: Gary Neville
ML: McManaman
MC: Gerard DM
MC: Scholes AM
MR: ????????????? At least for the first half.
FC: Owen
FC: Folwer, Heskey, Others....

Compared to France, Italy and Argentina, a lesser extent Portugal, that ain't too flash, better than others though......

It's an Argentinian conspiracy I reckon..Tristan and Duscher in two weeks both try to bust Beckham's leg..terrible..:(

I dont think that Mcmanaman will play in the starting 11.
I Think Keiron Dyer will come in if he is fit.
Centre Back will be Southgate.
Its certainly not looking god for Becks is it. He may not even get in the squad, so he will have to wait another 4 years.
I was at the match last night, and all the crowd were certainly giving deportivo some stick. I couldnt believe the atmosphere in the stadium, it was fantastic, and everyone went crazy when the goals went in.

tristan was violent in the first leg, dusher wasn't, he played hard but he played the ball, it is not even close to what tristan did

I don't buy into the conspiracy theory here, I just think Duscher made an awful challenge that he shouldn't have bothered trying. Players get sent off for those.

Hopefully Beckham will heal quickly and be able to get on the plane. Even if he's not 100% fit he should still play, build up his fitness while playing. It's his drive (not to mention skill) that sets him apart from the rest of the England team, he's starting to get like Keane for that.

If it is 8 weeks and I were Sven I'd take the gamble and stick him on the plane anyway. There's going to be some England players that won't get a run out anyway so drop one of them and put Beckham in there even if he isn't going to be able to play at the start. He'll be healed around the start, if the doctors are right. I'd give him a week to get his fitness up (he's a fit fella, although he won't be 100% it'll come during the World Cup). Then maybe play him.

If England manage to get through the 1st stage without him, bring him in ASAP. <dream-sequence> He'll be okay for the final if England get there... What if they do then in comes Beckham, World Cup final, 90th minute free kick, scores are tied... Beckham steps up... Sets up the shot... fires it in... GOAL!! England win the World Cup. David Beckham... </dream-sequence> :D

He will, hopefully be fit at some stage of the World Cup. If he's not there he won't be able to play. I can't see every midfielder England pick getting a run out, it just doesn't happen often. Like I said if it were my choice, pick Beckhame anyway. He might not play, but if he is able to and he's not there...

I agree. I just saw the video and that is what I thought. I think Tristan's was worse. You never want to see anyone get hurt and I wish Beckham a speedy recovery.

Damn, as much as I dislike Man Utd and prhaps also Beckham, i agree that no player deserves that kind of treatment...it was a disgrace to not only football, but to fairplay itself....almost like Dushcer had planned....I really hope he get's punished....hard!
