I´ve the program runing, I fixed the incompatibility problem I´ll send it to Neovico and Vogel in few minutes for testing...if no new problems comes out will be ready for download today...

Note: Some features are not finished but this prog takes the file exported from rhino and put it in the hheadxxx.txt READY FOR IMPORT WITH CONRAV!!!! NO MORE COPY AND PASTE!!!!!!! hehe cool!

But I have a bad new...seems rhino works in a different way on others comps...seems the system is important, I use w98se (Vogel too) and it worked perfect...and is very important to get the exported file from rhino in the rigth way if this is not possible for u ..well my prog will not work on your system. The lines in the exported file shoul look like this:
"d24adf84-4d9b-11d6-b6ba-00e006e93f0c","point","5.180394397996308,33.36320650958633,3.214620999999 994"

(all in the same line, the spaces are because I´m posting here but there are not spaces, just cut and paste to compare it with your exported file ..Export it like this:

- I export the shape with "save as" and as "Object Properties (*.csv)" file and not !!! "Point File (*.csv)
- Check only the 2 options "Object ID" and "Object description"

Beta tester please if u have problems with the prog send me your exported file from rhino, and post here all the problems including your system info (w98se, xp, etc.) becouse seems that rhino works different in other comps.

For run this prog:u´ll need excell 2000 or higher and u should allow macros.

I NEED FEEDBACK about this...so if u are not a beta tester just try to export a file from rhino (In the Vogel way) and post here wich kind of lines are u geting and wich system did u use.

I want this work for everybody..not just for me!

I dont have excel so I have a problem.
BTW which version of Rhino should I have? I have 2.0 evaluation.
The spreadsheet prog that I have is Microsoft works spreadsheets, but it isnt excel. Will it still work?

About excel well I can´t help u I don´t think u can download this from the net bu about rhino I´ve used the version trial in the oficial site.

Bugger, I am a bit stuck then.

the tool and the tutorial is available for download now in SA and FIFAURUGUAY (http://www.socceraccess.com/uruguay)

In Excel, the NEOGF tool always saves the RAV and TXT files as .BAK (backup files) and it causes all sorts of problems, because ConvRAv can't read theses files, and even when I change them to . rav, convrav says they're not a valid rav file. Very annoying..

Oh well, at least you have got excel. I dont have it for some reason, so I will never be able to use this technique, so good luck everyone in making those faces

Chris, Microsoft Excel comes with Microsoft Office, which is normally standard in new computers. I have Microsoft Office, and it contains many Microsoft programs, so if you buy that your problem is sorted.

I have managed to get the rav file right, but the lines are in theWRONG ORDER STILL!!!!

The number which is always at the start should be 0.001185 (I think) but with the changed rav file, I found this number about 3 quarters down the page! I can't believe the lines are still in the wrong order. I hope Windows XP isn't the problem.....:(

All I have is microsoft works suite, and I also have Microsft word.
But no excel or powerpoint.

Hehe..Don´t send people there! In that page you just can found some big legal agreements where microsoft says is not responsable for any damage caused by their programs (btw those progs cause a LOT of damage) and all the possible ways they have to put you in jail! hehe

Long life to LINUX! (BTW it´s free...and microsoft servers works with LINUX...trust me)

It's hard work, but it will be very interesting and useful... so to take advantage of this new work, can you try to add if it's possible the function I explain you in a mail to converter the wrong object ID in good Object ID. and may be, more people will can use your great tool to make NeoGF face ;)
