haha!! the australian league sucks ar$e!
Its pretty good list, i agree with the top four european nations, spain, england, italy, germany, but i thought holland would be infront of portugal and france.
Also i thought Turkey would be higher than it is.
I cant believe that USA is lower than australia though, USA should be much higher imho.
And where is the J-League, what is Japan in that below language? Is it Nippon? I really dont have a clue..
Pelegrin 13-04-2002, 09:34:AM Well...
Its 250 leagues i believe!!!
So it would have been a long list.
But for anyone who intrested check the link http://www.iffhs.de there is plenty of info for all the clubs in the world.

yeah J-League=Nippon
The MLS is miles better than the Australian League. The Aussie league is crap rubish football there are players in the MLS like Landon Donovan that are stars, which the NSL doensn't have any of.
emmer 13-04-2002, 01:05:PM yeap this thread should be moved :p anyway i think this list was already posted at soccer forum.... but who cares? :p  :mrpimp:
hermolt 13-04-2002, 03:14:PM LOLOL The Uzbekistanian, Costa Rican and Honduras leagues are all better than the Aussie one..
nico2001 13-04-2002, 03:31:PM but think one thing:
Italian snd spanish leagues are very good because there are a lot of american players.. specially argentinians...je:p
Sembei 13-04-2002, 10:07:PM I usually see this really good pages... i post some days ago the top club list on championship manager forum.... I like a lot the work of this federation... but they update to slow!
www.iffhs.de is the URL
Pelegrin 18-04-2002, 06:42:AM The stats that they have in there are amazing to say the least.
I must say they must have one of the most completed databases in the clubs history and Leagues in the whole planet.
And of course i am proud of the Hellenic league ranking 10th in the world.
A proud Greek.

Yes, I posted a lot of IFFHS statistics back in January!!!!!! ;)
Here's the link: http://www.soccergaming.tv/search.php?s=&action=showresults&searchid=18334&sortby=lastpost&sortorder=descending
Sweden Boy 18-04-2002, 03:22:PM Uzbek league better than Swedish????that cant be!!!
Glorious 18-12-2003, 05:42:PM The APL will be better than its predecessor the NSL!
Run DMB 18-12-2003, 07:36:PM This is the most ridiculous list I've ever seen. And this is coming from someone who regulary checks the Fifa World Rankings. ;)
I'm sorry but the GUATEMALAN league is 28th and MLS is not top 50? WTF? The top Guatemalan players play in MLS.
So the GUATEMALAN league is better than the Bulgarian, Polish, Ukrainian... riiiiiiiiiight. I'd like to see the formula they used to figure that out.
The HONDURAN league is ahead of MLS? Again, some of the top Honduran players play in MLS, wtf are they talking about?
The NSL ahead of MLS is the final insult on this list. The most bullsh*t ranking of the year.
MLS is realistically somewhere around #36, 37 on that list. Many other leagues are ridiculously out of place as well.
If you want to see what a REAL and fairly accurate ranking looks like, check out the UEFA Coefficients:
http://www.xs4all.nl/~kassiesa/bert/uefa/crank04.html
It's only for European leagues and that's exactly why it's accurate. Because it has a clear basis on which to rank leagues - their clubs' performance in the Champions League and UEFA Cup.

Aimar, Ayala(too old now) and... ??? WHO????
you're a Barca fan...think about it. ;)
Dream Team 19-12-2003, 04:33:AM Saviola is in the bench. Is there any other? oh yes, riquelmemaradona, that player who did NOTHING in one year and is the star of villarreal.
Important argentinian players of la liga there are only those 2.
Run DMB 19-12-2003, 05:02:AM BTW, did I mention the MetroStars beat the Chinese national team 2-1 this summer using their reserve players.
And yet the Chinese league is somehow better than MLS.
Look at the date is was posted :read:

shevacrazy07 19-12-2003, 07:46:AM IMO, right now i would say the top should be England, the most challenging would be the Italian league IMO.
