One HUGE problem World Cup 2002 has created is the superhuman header or the "forehead rocket shot" as it will be now known. How they managed to let this bug slip through is beyond me. Every time I play the game I score at least one goal by this method and I try hard not to. Short of never challenging for a header which would well and truly suck, there's no way to prevent the forehead rocket shot.

EA refuse to answer any questions relating to this bug but then given they can't even list the correct teams in the demo on the official web site is that any surprise.

The game itself, other than this huse error I quite like. It's a vast improvement over Fifa 2002 but that stupid freaking power header thing is gonna make the game a laughing stock.

yeah but in reallity we cant have everything perfect and I for one was very close to giving up on EA games completely ... other than madden :D ... but now this game has come along way since fifa 2002 ... you know what i think is.. that fifa 2002 was a prototype for world cup .. and they released it not caring about the results just to see what people did and didnt like... many
bugs are fixed... i love the music .. so much better than that trance bollocks... and i love how players grab shirts and push off ... the rocket forehead super header :) well i'm happy to deal with it

Edit all the defenders down to Hobbit size, say 1 metre or something like that, that would stuff em up for sure when they do the leap for those "Tristan-forehead rocket shot" " headers, plus with having a team of ferrel bare hoofed Hobbits screaming around the pitch it could in fact inject some more humour into the game, and the pitch would also appear to be twice the size, hence tiring out the players a lot faster and giving you more value for your dollar as you have to keep calling up the subs to help fill in the empty gaps across the grass, wizards for keepers, and a huge $%^ing Troll for a ref, hey,hey what a novel idea, any patch makers out there who would like to spend the next few months making a one off, cool as, first time ever "Hobbit" patch, nah i didn't think so. ;) And please don't read this post, it should be censored. duh. ;)
