well, out of the two I think the first one is better, but I'd change the background...I dunno, just looks kinda strange having a cartoon against a realistic background...but, that's just me.

Hmm, usually with anime art I like to keep the backgrounds colourful, and "abstractish" looking...I find the less detail in the background helps the characters stand out more. Also, keep the background not as bright, maybe lower the transparency, this helps the stuff in the foreground seem closer...give that a try..

hmmm actually i think the first one is more good-looking but i have chosen the second one because i think it has more "creativity" and "originality".. :rolleyes: :rolleyes: hope i'm right and hope it will count for the votes... :p

hehehe... i just scanned some kinda drawings i made during some classes last year. you know, that boring classes... i passed my time drawing crazy lines, people etc on the book :D

also, that words at the left of the cover were written by me during that kinda classes. that words are just bands/musician names and i covered a entire page just with this... :p :p nah i'm not crazy :mrpimp:

anyway i was thinking better and i think i must agree with you shinji... the first one looks better but now the time's over and well... nevermind, hope i get right in the next contest :cool:
