Matt has told me that the CPU sill don’t make substitutions from tired players from what he’s seen so far.

This is crazy from EA, R.I.P FIFA, cause ISS is coming to PC!!! :rockman:

I can’t wait; cause ANY ISS game is bound to be better then FIFA, from KCET or KCEO!!

And you know what else?
1. NO Training mode.
2. NO Creation Centre.
3. Playing MODES- a. Friendlies b. WC c. Multiplayer

I would have figure that they heard people complained about the training mode for FIFA2002. There is no way you can edit WC unless Chau make a compatible FED because there is CUSTOMIZATION options.

Thanks EA for putting a real hard effort into making this game. It takes you guys how long to make this game?

It allegedly took them a few months to make World Cup 2002, but I reckon it took EA about a few hours to make something that is so bad that makes FIFA 97 look good!

It's crystal clear now that EA have lost it, they're a bunch of nutters that can't program anymore, they lost their brain cells after creating RTWC 98 and they don't deserve their game on the shelves.

You ask me, if ISS is gonna kill them off. I say YES! :D And I want to see them go down, down, down, YEAH! :rockman:

They should be closed down for taking the p*ss out of the World Cup, cause this is the BEST tournament ever and EA are making a joke out of it!!

Why on earth do they constantly produce sh*t like this?

They've lost the plot since the stale FIFA 2000, and they never rectified what we all thought was a minor blip by making two of the worst FIFA's that have ever been made. And now this pile of crap... I think EA's programmers are either mindless morons or tightarsed bastards who are more intent on disappointing us with their poor work. I don't think any of them have ever seen a football match, never mind played the game, and it just takes the piss that they've introduced things into WC2002 that wouldn't exist in real life like the superman headers and the whoosh noise of the ball as if it's a bloody rocket.

With the news of ISS coming to PC, EA have signed their own death warrant with this garbage, and we're all starting to put off FIFA 2003 before anything has got off the drawing board already. If something of the standard of PES appears, then it's all over for FIFA...

Myself, I think the reason why FIFA has gone so sh*te is because EA have become greedy and arrogant, and thus f*cked off most of their staff who worked on the likes of RTWC, and replaced them with people who don't know their arse from their elbow.

Oh well, this is typical cheap business tactics from EA - make a substandard game, get some high profile endorsements, have a big franchise of the (beleaguered) governing body and then sell it knowing the fact that some gullable sod will buy it.

Another thing is why the hell are we wasting our time by posting suggestions and all that for future FIFA games when all EA do is to take no notice of our ideas whatsoever, or worse, do the complete opposite of what we'd all want to see and thus make fools of themselves by making a slipshod game that is only good enough to leave them with egg on their face. :f***:

World Cup 2002 is an obvious cheap tactic cash in on the greatest show on earth - because of the game's official status, people buy it, regardless of the quality of the content. This is what EA want - they make the game poorer and poorer each time, and because of the name, they know they'll get good sales. :f***:

That's reality I'm afraid - a once respectable games company is damaging it's own reputation because of sheer arrogance and no public orientation. They need to look back at the FIFA games they made in the 1990's and compare them to now and see how sh*t they have gone. But hell they won't do that because it's too much like hard work for them.

In my opinion, if I had the choice of paying £29.99 for a very poor World Cup 2002, or pay £4.99 for a four year old World Cup 98, you'd know what my choice would be :rockman:. But it's easier said than done to get people to completely boycott WC2002, because the game will obviously sell due to the name.

Roll on ISS for PC... beats any of the FIFA 2xxx games without trying...
