So I got a copy and this game is really good.

The graphics are amazingly done, the Stadiums are amazing, and the match engine is the best I've seen in any game, ever... playing @ 1280X1024 with 0 glitches is just too much fun...

The passing system has improved quite a bit, and you are able to hand some awesome thorough balls.

The shooting system is a bit of a disappointment... the power bar method works much better than in Fifa 2002 but the shots look identical in the way they travel in the air / hit the net, so basically you won't be scoring too many different goals in 1 on 1 situations.

The keepers have improved tremendously, but still there are a few glitches and AI problems.

I was disappointed most of all by the computer's shots at goal... they are absolutly identical to Fifa 2002... not much surprise there.

What I liked most of all is the fact crosses / high balls etc have improved! Finally your player has to be located in the right place at the right time to get to the ball and you have to power your header correctly for it to work to your advantage.

Not all of your crosses are going to reach your player's head/foot and go into the net, the defence actually has an advantage this time and the chances the defence will get the ball is higher this time.

Corner kicks are awesome! Wether it be the animation or the process itself, corner kicks are very nicely done.

When a ball is in the air you may do a few things with it: 1. Head it directly to a player 2. Head it forward 3. stop it using your chest and shooting it 4. stop it using your chest and passing it 5. stop it using your chest and crossing/clearing it 6. Volley kick 7. Bycycle kick and much more...

The way the players handle the ball is awesome, they may stop it with their chest, knee, or leg and do some neat stuff with it to get forward.

Also I like the way getting the ball from your opponent is NOT as easy as it used to be. Simply hitting 'D' won't work anymore because the players fight to keep the ball this time. You have to be located correctly to get the ball from your opponent.

Commentating is POOR... you hear the same lines over and over again, and EA Sports put effort into making Mr. Grey say all kinds of statistics... "Figo broke the transfer record...", "Italy won the world cup..." - it repeeats itself and the stats are not very interesting.

Each stage of the World Cup in the game has a different 'intro', the way the players step in, the music that is played, and the animation used... everything looks spectacular but once you went through all stages you know what to expect.

The musc in the main menu is horrible, there is only one tune playing which is nice but couldn't they include a few more?

The worst part of the game is the fact you can either 1. Play a Friendly 2. Compete in the World Cup 3. Play online

The only other things you can do are Team Managment and changing the Settings... no customization, no practice, no leagues, nothing extra... seems better as an expansion than a seperate game.

Overall this game is GREAT, if only put more thought at enanching it a little, it would be even better. The gameplay itself is awesome, the rest not as much...
