It is impossible to chest the call inside the box. CPU pushes you from behind and steels the ball every time before you can make a shot. How can you make one time shot to the goall with out chesting it down. Players still wait around to get the ball. They don't go to the ball. One year maybe EA will get this right.

I am affraid they will never come close to the perfect game. What really bugs me is that my atacker gets the ball right front of the keeper and I am about to shoot the damn keeper just wrestles me down on the pitch. He slams me down sooooo hard and the ref does not punishes him nor calls a penalty. :mad: EA you got alot of angry customers. Get it right for 2003. SHeeeeeeSHHHHH :rolleyes:

- Actually, I've been able to one time it often, as long as the ball is lobbed infront of the player. And if not, this game creates quick touches to put the ball in front and then shoot...i've done plenty of awsome things..

Diving headers, knee shot, chest push, backwards headers and numerous other awsome angled headers, scissor kicks, one bicycle kick, back footed, chip shots, and others i can't think of.

This game is pretty cool...the only problem that I think really hurts the game play is the fact that no special moves work. The defender immediately steals the ball

In soccer, a special move helps keep the defender away from the ball, but in this game, it seems by pushing the special move button, it triggers the computer's defense to steal immediately! In soccer, defenders are to contain and keep the offensive player in check, because one on one's usually go to the offensive player...

Only a select few defenders can go one on one with calibur players like Ronaldo and actually take the posseision away...

So Fifa should make their defenses contain, and not attack. The defense that is going on now, should only occur very near/ in the box...and not in mid field, or even worse, at ur own box.

A defensive player should run with the offensive player, but also give him a little room, waiting for the offensive player to make his move...

I liked the last part of your comment where you have said 'a difensive player should run with the offensive player' . Yes totally agree with you man, all the difense moves up and looses track of the CPU players. Also I would like to add something to it. In the strategy area before the game starts I would like to mark surtain players with my difense player. Also I would like to define only certain difense players to join the attack in certain times, I would also want to define certain difense players to go up in the danger area at a korner kick or a freekick in certain time. Like for example I would like Roberto Carlos to help the attack from the left wing. I want Maldini to mark Henry man to man marking. I want to be able to ove Nesta up in the danger area when I am loosing by 1 goal at the time of a corner kick or a free kick.


At the time of freekicks I as a pure football fan don't want to see few players in the danger area. Instead 10-15 players has to be either difending or attacking in total. :o
