Also, forget World Tour Soccer 2002. It's definitely better than FIFA, but very predictable in terms of AI and it gets boring. On the PS2, MLS ExtraTime (NOT 2002 - it isn't coming) has good gameplay and nice graphics, but only the MLS players have real names and stats (and they are out-of-date). The national teams are useless - the USA is the highest-rated team in the game! But, IMHO, the gameplay of MLS ET isn't even as good as the PS1 game ISS Pro Evolution, the only one to be released stateside. If graphics don't matter to you as much as gameplay, I think it's a better choice if you can find it. MLS ET just feels a bit more scripted to me and you have fewer options with cameras, bad sound (even worse than the rest of the series), no custom formations, and strange circular power meters (sort of like a golf game) for your shots. If you are willing to play on the PC, the Webmaster is right - get ISS PE2 (imported) and an emulator - you can even edit the teams and players extensively to customize it.
