Got I think the very first version of ps2, got my gs2, got winning eleven 6, did the old knife trick, pressed X, goes to a blank screen and nothing happens.
Please help me if you can, I'm absolutely dying to play.

it only works if you make a copy.

it doesn't work with the original cd.

Might seem like a stupid question but did you create a backup copy of we6 and use that with the knife trick? You can't play import originals using the knife trick.

Sorry if you already knew this, but I wasn't sure from your e-mail whether you were trying to play from the original cd.

You guys can read my mind. I was about to jump on and ask if that was the problem.
Well I'll probably have questions about the way I should copy it in a minute. But i'll search the forum for answers first.
If you can give me a quick tip while you check up on my response that would be helpful.

just burn the image you created with cdrwin. if u have cdrwin 4.x just leave all the default settings and burn. then knife it and everything should work fine.

Well for starters, you can't use the original game for the knife trick. And depending on the version of ps2 you have, you might have to patch the back up that you burn before you play it. When I did the knife trick for the first time, I had two versions of we5fe, a patched one and an unpatched one. I use the unpatched one first and I got the "blank screen" too. But then I the patched one and I've been addicted to WE5FE ever since...:)

I've had the game Maximo for three weeks and have only played it twice because of WE5FE:) I can't even begin to imagine how addicted I'm going to be to WE6:D

As you can see it took my about 6 hours to get back on here....
HOping for the english patch soon so I can enjoy it even more.
