Folks, I have successfully ordered and received my copy of WE6 in the U.S.

From what I've read, I now need to purchase a mod-chip and GameShark 2 to get this import to play on my U.S. PS2.

Quick questions (and apologies for the fact that I'm a newbie at this stuff):

(1) What is a mod-chip and why do I need it?
(2) What is the GameShark2 and why do I need it?
(3) Suggestions on a mod-chip brand/model?

Thanks everyone. I'm quite ready to launch into WE6 with your help!

Cheers,
Marc

Chips are used to play original games from other regions (a lock out exists for each console and it's region.) or backups.

Some chips require you to swap from the GameShark to the game, others directly boot any copy without the swap process.

Starchip or Neo for swap, messiah for non swap are the chips I like.
