I think Inter are moving in a positive step, they aren't spending like crazy and they are using their loaned players for next season. They have Frey in goal this season-great move. They are getting Pirlo back and keeping Vieri and Recoba. They will hopefully get rid of Panucci-they don't need him. They added Farinos to strengthen the midfield and Sukur to replace Ronaldo. They still have Georgatos, Simic, Cordoba, Blanc, Seedorf, Jugovic, Di Biagio-great team. Blanc, Jugovic, Di Biagio, Sukur are all doing great in Euro 2000. Please voice your opinions about Inter and any other Italian team that you think is moving in the right direction.

Well I don't know. To me Simic and Cordoba are good defenders, but not guys to win a title with.
Blanc is still a great sweeper, but without Thuram and Desailly he is in knee-deep trouble and often had to face fast players 1 on 1.
To me they should concentrate fully on getting that world class central back they were searching so desperate for last year.
Cannavaro or Thuram or why not Desailly should de wonders.

At midfield they are really good, finally getting rid of Moriero and the likes. They real deal will be Pirlo, and I tell you that Brocchi-di Biagio-Pirlo-Seedorf-Zanetti will be a hell of a midfield.

Up front they should ditch Zamorano and concentrate on the (often injured) starters Vier and Ronaldo, with the excellent "subs" Sukur and Recoba.

To me Roma (Batistuta, Emerson) and Lazio (Crespo, Baronio) are doing very well too.
Don't know 'bout Juve though. It is said they'd get rid of Inzaghi, which should help them a lot :-)

yes, I didn't know Inter were getting Brocchi though, is this really true? Yes Zamorano should go somewhere else, but not b/c he sux, b/c he doesn't fit in here and could better be used somewhere else. Recoba should definitely start-where did Moriero go to? Zanetti might leave too. Don't forget about Georgatos. They will kick ass next year.

Moriero will leave because he is old (Torino), sames goes for Zamorano (destination unknown, in fact I don't 100% if he leaves).

Georgatos is a good player, but Brocchi is simply more adept for Lippi's style. He is one of Italy's best midfielders and will go with the through the WC2002 qualifying. Sad Zoff forgot him for now, but ...

actually, i don't know about hakan sukur going there because some inter reps came to istanbul and galatasaray wanted 18 million for hakan but those cheap bastards only offered 8 million. then they kicked them out. who do they think they're kidding? just because it's turkey they think that people don't know what players are really worth? i mean you can sign players like ronaldo and vieri for like 60 million bucks and you won't cough up a measly 18 million bucks for a coveted striker who deserves that much?

I would just like to see Ronaldo and Vieri play together - they're two of my favourite players (especially that tank Vieri) and if they had a good chemistry they could turn out to be one of the best striking partnerships of all time.

Sukur is definitely going to Inter. When did Inter get Brocchi. Zanetti could leave for Spain or something. If that was the case then what about Fiore? They wouldn't really need him with Seedorf, Pirlo, Georgatos, Di Biagio, Farinos, Cauet, Jugovic-but what an addition that would be.
