Where can I get a good textures (and not the NHL ones because I don't like them).

what kind of kits are you making? 32bit or 2gk?

you can get the normal EA textures for 2GK in FIFAURUGUAY (http://www.socceraccess.com/uruguay/eng)

and you can get a 3gk template there too

But I'm making the kits in the 3gk format and I already have the EA original's textures and the NHL from the site you gave me.
I saw in the forum that people talking about textures that created by some of the forum's users.

Can you post here some of these textures or tell me where can I get them? and tell me if I can use them.

well, fede is the one thats creating textures all, the time, maybe you should ask him for some of those textures (I'm not allowed to give them away sorry) and also V-9 made like 3 or 4 different textures that around here somewhere

yeah some of fedes are really cool, although id have to say some arent so cool. If u want textures though, speak to him. Just a word of warning, check what the textures look like ingame before u start using them! Always keep an untextured version of ur kits too, just incase..;)

I have the textures I created saved in the PSD format (photosohop) and some of the layer is the texture, so if I want to remove the texture I just delete the layer.

By the way, I searched for textues in the forum, and I've found some fede's textures. Can I use them?

I'm not into european kits right now (I'm making latin kits now, and there are a lot of liverpool kits all over the place) but I think skeep is coming back for his 'vacations' and he'll help you:D :p :D

hey,I never bother making kits,coz there are so many talented kit makers like JJ,V-9,fede who make very good kits.I just want to ask beacuse i am curius:is there only one texture for all the kits in the game,or every team can have it's own texture?

and one other thing,i see many people in both fifa2k2 and wc2002 complaining about the NHL textures.What's so bad about them?I use them(through the EMP2k2) and i am satisfied,the only thing that bothers me is that every time the players raises his arm(eg in Man U.)

I don't think that there is another type of kit that improves this.I also don't like the poor quality of the bagdes and the sponsor logo(oh my God,i finally ended up disliking the NHL,s***)

ok...basically i think uve gotten the idea of what nhl and/or textures are.
Textures are the shades etc of a kit. Therefore, U can use any different combination of textures in the game for difference teams etc. They are whatever u use on that particular kit.
What i think ur speaking about is kit types. Things like 32bit, the GK series from SoccerAccess etc.
The sponser thing ALWAYS happens, it is because of the way the kits are applied to EA's models. However if u move the sponser slightly lower on the kit it wont happen. So this has nothing to do with NHL textures either.
I think u have also just mixed up soccered kits, and NHL textured kits. Soccered usually texture their kits with NHL, and also usually apply logos on the kit,as u have said. However everything else, is just specific to FIFA, not any kits. hmmm i could explain this for hours.
Basically, NHL textures are the swirly looking textures on the kits. U can use any combination of textures in FIFA. Kit types are different things. These are #GK, 32 bit etc. The sponser problem is caused by FIFA's engine, and the positioning of the sponser. Finally placing logos on the kits, is commonly done by some kit makers, who do it because they dont like the way puting the badge in the crst file makes the badge look like its sticking out in front of the uniform.
anyway basically usually all kit styles are done for a reason, but things like textures really come down to personal preference.

Please answer my question (if I can use some fede's textures I found on the forum) as soon as possible because I plan some big kits patch and I want the best texture for this patch.

The problem is its not really our decision, its Fede's. Find someone that i fede's friend, and get them to ask him. Or try to find someone to contact him.
Sorry we really cant help u!. Just make all the kits untextured, and add textures once u r finished. Really though, i dont think many textures look better INGAME then teh EA ones. They suit the models well, and are shaded, much like a real shirt would be.

yep i never created them, i just tinkered with them. I made the back (got rid of some of the darkness,resized it a little, and mirrored it), and made the sleeve.)

However, these textures dont look so good in the game, they just look really good out of game. I think they are too dark, but if u messde around with them a while, maybe u could get them looking good.
