and Majesco makes it.. the makers of GOAL... :) remember that awesome soccer game? hopefully they will make this one where you can get on your goalies just like GOAL and control him and make your own saves unlike other developers these days who leave out one of the best and most exciting options in soccer/footie games these days. and also.. will be releasing here in the US for I imagine.. sounds good..

It looks very promising game since I don't wanna put the mod chips in my PS2 to play WE6. :D
I might want to purchase this game.
I wonder when this game will be released in the States...

man , I already have this game on my PSX for six months or something , it's nice , but not as good as PES (ps1 and 2).
Talking about gameplay of course ( graphics on ps2 will be better of course )

This never matches up to the greatness of PES and all the ISS games, not forgetting we6 (which i havent been on). Three things which r probably better on David Beckam Soccer than PES r the comentry, the player names will be real, and there r more teams on it.

It's hard to find anything about release dates for soccer games in the United States. I was interested in this game for Xbox, but now since PS2's price dropped, forgetta bout it.

Man this game looks EXACTLY like UEFA Striker!(or international football 2002 for the pc). That game sucks! Totally unrealistic.

I hired the game today from the local video store, it's not too bad, but far from perfect, with limited camera options that restrict the optional views. It has a fair enough training mode in there which can be fun to take on, the tackling has to be timed before you commit the tackling player. It has a TIF feel about it and so on and so forth, it isn't in the same mould as PES. 'but what other footie game is'. I didn't get into any in depth competition gameplay, but going by the in game menus there does seem to be quit a bit in the game. So from what i have seen, it is ok for a 'fill in' footie game on the Ps2 untill the Pal Version of WE6 is released later on this year, but not a game that i would shell out $90 for or to get too overheated about.

I thought the game was crap, only one real player name, poor gameplay, i would not reccomend it

I rented the game last week. The game (PSone) is allright, I think. Did anyone notice that Polish & German flags have association emblems in it ? :(
The roster is pretty much out of dated. :o
