Fist of all, I apologise for not been precise with this data, because I’m in the office and not at home and I don’t have the game in my notebook. This weekend I was as usual complete piss off because Amateur was so easy and professional to hard, and I use the gfxpack tool to take a look at the settings ini files of the games (…./data/cmn/ini.big). There is one called aidiff.ini that has some settings starting BE_XX, … BE_ZZ, AM_XX …, AM_ZZ, PR_XX … PR_ZZ, WC_XX … WC_ZZ.
There is one that (I think) describes the reaction of the CPU players which in BE and AM is 60 (I suppose 60 milliseconds) and for PR and WC is 0 (instant reaction!!!) I change the PR_… setting (PR is for professional) from 0 to 25.
The gameplay in professional became more easy. I move the setting to 18 and I think now is fair. There are some other settings to play around to reduce the gap.
Please share comments.
I will try to see the exact name of the setting, but you will find no problem to find it. Again I’m sorry to not be more precise.
