Reports are saying that Bayern Munich wants to sign American attacker Clint Mathis for around 3 million pounds. Being American, I am happy to hear this because it will open the door for other Americans in Europe. Mathis is the States' best player and I know he is good enough to play in Europe. He played extremely well against Germany. Landon Donovan will be great, but is not developed yet (mainly because Bruce Arena, the idiot that he is, doesn't play Donovan enough).
Parma has accepted (and now currently delayed) a 16 million move to Juventus for Fabio Cannavaro. If Cannavaro does goto Juve, that will most likely open the door for Manchester United to buy Lillian Thuram. As a Juventus fan, I would like to see Cannavaro, but I don't think that it's the right move just to ship Thuram out. They have room for him and the 2 would make Juventus' superb defense the best in the world.

Cannavaro would be great...
Juve placed an official bid on Nesta too....but it was declined by Lazio....but Juve are set to make a higher bid and send Davids in the opposite direction,,..
but one things for sure....we WILL get a world class defender,,,and Thuram is getting old....so i would love to c Juve cash in on him NOW.

Yeah I would prefer Cannavaro over Thuram also. Nesta would be my choice out of all three though. He could really become the rock in the defense for many years. But, I really don't want to see Davids go, but that is part of the game.

Maybe Ferguson will bring Sir Bobby Charlton out of retirement. Charlton's about 115 years old but I heard he can still kick it high:D
Maybe even Fergie himself will put on the boots and get into the games next season. I guess if United play poorly then Ferguson will take matters into his own hands and start playing himself. Watch out Juve and Real and Arsenal. Fergie is on the loose:D
Even Denis Irwin was happy warming the bench at United as long as the paychecks were coming in. But I guess now he's unemployed cause fergie wants to replace him with other seniors.
