I hear people predicting 3-1 for Holland!!!!!Thats ridiculous !!!!!Not even France vs Italy in World cup 98 comes close to that score .People say that they were lucky to win vs Turkey and sweden.Against Turkey ,Italy deserve to win ,they played an attacing footbal and the score could of ended easily 5-1 .As for Sweden ,they put their backups,what do u expect .Im not saying that Italy is invicible ,all im saying is the game will be very close and tough and I doubt more than 2 goals will be scored in that game .When was the last time Italy has conceided more than 2 goals and lose in a big competition .The last time was in euro96 ,but they were awful that year .In france98,not even France could of scored 1 goal .People ,dont think this game will be an easy walk at the park for Holland.If Holland does beat Italy ,fine ,i will accept it ,im not gonna start arguing .If Italy wins,I will be very happy of course,but if not I will still be happy cause they came in the semi finals for the first time since 1988 and frankly i never expected that .But people ,dont actually think its gonna be easy for Holland,cause they are not Yugoslavia or denmark .

Paolo: if they give the dutch so much space as they gave Belgium, Sweden and Romania it will be very very hard.
Italy his to start to run an offensive game and not rely solely on their defense. They have to put pressure on Holland, because the dutch are not that great defensivley.

I know that Italy cant rely just on defense ,but like I said ,the game is going to a close one ,I predict a 1-0 win for either side .I just wish Vieri hadnt got injured .

Today the dutch team played brilliant and defeated Yugoslavia in a great style. But there are still two hurdles to take before the cup can be lifted. If they play the same way against Italy the chance is big they walk into some sharp counters. I guess the dutch team will play more reserved, but I think they do not have to fear Italy. Should be a 2 - 0 victory for Holland.
