Do you remember in "FIFA 99" how they had a "nutter" rating at the bottom of the player edit screen? What happened to that feature?

And, after yesterday's game, what would Beckham score on the "nutter" scale? I don't think there's enough room on the screen!

Do you think he shows more "cheek" on the pitch, or at home (in Posh's thong)?

These are questions that need to be answered...

HEY CANTONA, Beckham is the best midfielder in the world?? Over Rivaldo's dead body. AND IF U LOOK AT THE REPLAY, YOU CAN SEE IT WAS FACKING INTENTIONAL!! YOU MUST BE THE ONE STUPID ..... OR BLIND. (by the way, Stupid and Dumb are synonyms, like idiot) By the way .... if he wins the the FIFA Player of the Year .... Would he become the first female to win it?? Or just the first male who likes to dress up as one?? And exactly what has he done for his country to deserve that honour?? Besides being sent off and having games where it would be easier to find Waldo than him, what has he done? How many World Cups? EURO Cups?? If he is finest England has to offer (which is a load of crap, Robbie Fowler is wayyyyyy better) what does that have to say about him?? You'd think he would learn.

Oh well, VASCO IS GONNA WIN IT ALL, AND I DO NOT WANT TO HEAR ANY OF YOU MANCHESTER U FANS BITCHING ABOUT HOW THERE WAS NO BECKHAM, CAUSE IF HE WAS THERE, HE'D PROBABLY GET SENT OFF ANYWAY! Wonder if he wants to borrow my Victoria's Secret Calendar?

Beckham is one of the greatest midfielder in the world but Fowler isn't very bad too!!!
There is no need to discuss a very good player (have you ever seen such an excellent pass like Beckham has?). We can only accept their talents and be happy that we can see them playing!!!

What Beckham made to his country? I don't want to know if he is a good or a bad player, but what he did?

I remember him destroying England in WC 98..

First of all, the ref didn't throw Beckham out the game because they thought the kick was intentional. It was a hard kick. Look at the replay. He used bad judgement by trying to kick the ball he had little chance of getting. So it cost him. Just like it cost him in 98 when he fouled Simeone.
Beckham is definetly not the greatest, but he is certaintly very talented
Talent alone doesn't make you the greatest. You have to be an all around athlete. Unfortunately for Beckham, his little "mean Streak" title will always stick with him. He'll never be considered the greatest by anyone other than his supporters, which at about this time are just a handful.

Yea it was intentional, and he should have kicked him harder, I don't even think you guys saw the game. I can't stand that team, they are all cheaters and divers and should be thrown out of the tournament. Also Robbie Fowler is a Striker, not a Midfielder.

Beckham is so bad at making a career theatening tackle look like an accident, and as for the so called manager saying it wasn't as bad as it looked, well all i can so is what does the future hold for football when we have managers basically giving there players a leicence to mame, maybe one day when beckhams career is bought to a premature end by some player giving a bit of payback, he will have some remorse, but some how i don't think so, unless of course there are some $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ in it for him LOL

What give you the right to complain about diving? Were you complaining about Solskjaer dive vs Sunderland? I think not.

Also Fergies comments just remind everyone why he's the most hated man in English football.

Finally who cares if he likes to wear Posh's underwear? She is stupid for saying that on national tv, and do you think it might have been possible that he was "nutter" because of that revelation? I think a definite maybe...

Technically, a "stupid" person is one lacking intelligence. A "dumb" person is one lacking the ability to speak.
:-)

As for Beckham...He is a very talented, and very immature player... but he's far from the only one out there.
Half of Arsenal have the same problem... no discipline.
Viera... Petit...come to mind...

Cantona07 knows what he's talking about.
Beckham is one of the if not the best midfielders in the world.
David Beckham was going for the ball when he accidentally knocked the possession holder in the groin. You can't say it was intentional. The action didn't even warrent a yellow card, let alone a red.
Sir Alex Ferguson was right to protest and when he was banned, well that's just crazy.

If David Beckham does get FIFA Player of the Year he deserves it.
He is a brilliant player, in particular in set pieces.

Both incidents in which Beckham has been sent from the field haven't looked intentional, in WC98 and the incident against Nexacca.

I don't like MU but I think we should give a break to Beckham. He is a good player. He did something really bad but that happens to everyone (maybe not twice but well...). He's not perfect, that's all.
And who believes UK tabloids nowadays anyway...

Oh it was intentional!!( my opinion )
I saw the game and ok if he only had put up his foot. But he intentionaly gives an extra kick against the guys leg....Can't say more but I think it is too bad that a player that have such a talent don't have any brains...

To BELFASTBOY!
So if the other team is "diving" a lot- then it is OK to kick down players..!?!?!
Well that shows that u must have a brain like Beckham or that u can nothing about football..

Patrick, if you think that Beckham(WC98) lying on the ground and kicking at Simeone as he walked past after the whistle had gone as not having looked intentional, I'd really hate to see something that you judge to be intentional.
But Beckham is a good player, but when he gets frustrated that nasty streak comes into play, just like in WC98. I didn't see the challenge in Brazil, so I can't comment on that.

Does it matter how talented Beckham was? If a trained chimp had gone in, studs showing, at that sort of height, he would have been sent off too. Necaxa were deliberately squeezing out the space that Beckham is usually given on that side of the field, and if you saw the match you could see that he was getting increasingly frustrated. I have probably not seen a worse tackle by a player this season, and Alex Ferguson showed off his 'drunken tramp' nature by backing him up. The Manchester United fans among you should, rather than defending the tackle to the hilt, be condemning it and questioning whether a player who was thought to have got rid of his short fuse has actually changed at all.

If we do talk about 'Best Midfielder In The World', let me pose a question: Can you see Rivaldo steaming in on an opponent like that?

Beckham did not go into the tackle looking to commit a foul but when he saw he wasn't going to get the ball he studded the mexican and a foul was given. As the referee walked up to card Beckham he originally went to draw a yellow card but then the scuffle broke out and after talking to the mexicans he changed his mind and gave Becks a red.

Beckham did deserve the red, but hopefully he'll play again in the tournament so that you can see that he is a real talent, just a childish one.

first off i dont know why people hate beckham so much he is one that will lead england into the next millenium, and all that crap that he costed england the world cup is pure rubbish, who missed the pk's during the shootout? sure england lost some of there momentum but the way the lost the game was not because of becks

why were the shooters not killed like beckham was in the media, all of you people were just looking for a scapegoat, for englands disspointment!!!!
