I can only think that the GC version will be better than the PS2 version, and it'll force KTYO to improve the PS2 version beyond what it would bue if it existed on it's own. Competition breeds excellence.

I think they will only convert the game to the xbox and gamecube, so they will still have a lot of time to improve the ps2 version.

Gamecube seems to have good prospect in We/PES series in the future. X-BOX is really sucks, I hate its contollers (heavy and very hard to control by my hand).

OK let's look at this seriously, in terms of hardware, graphics production and sound production all running at a good rate the Xbox would obviously provide the best overall experience, with the Gamecube slightly behind and the PS2 a little futher back. Anyone that thinks the GC would produce a better overall output needs to buy a brain, it's cold hard facts that the XBox has better graphics, sound and resolution output.

Now in terms of having a good controller for a any football game it comes down to choice, I like the XBox one cause it's big, strong and fits my hands. The GC one is suited for those with smaller hands such as a child. The PS2 is probably the best overall, it's a bit to small for me but is not flimsy. Like I said it comes down to personal choice.

If you want the best looking and best sound orientated WE game, then it should be on the PC, but without worrying about specs and that then it's better off on the Xbox. Any WE game is more likely to come to the GC, not because it is superior in hardware terms (which it isn't) it's because Konami is Japanese and Nintendo is Japanese, as is Sony. Microsoft is American and I think that a Japanese company would rather deal with a Japanese based console rather than opting for a better looking and sounding and smoother game. But hey, that's politics.

The PS2 out sells the Xbox and GC, and the GC out sells the Xbox in Japan, the Xbox outsells the GC in America and they are even in Europe and Australia, so obviously Konami will opt for a console that is doing strong in Japan.

The bottom line is that Konami are happier developing WE games for a more familiar console rather than one that could produce a better outcome in terms of a better game, but not neccessarily a better financial outcome.

Its pretty obvious really.
PC's can support higher resolutions, more graphical features, betters sound cards and are currenlty much more powerful then ANY consoles. So of course this games best version could be on PC.

So of course this games best version could be on PC. It's a matter of preference really. You might prefer the inevitable better graphics, but there are a lot of reasons why consoles would give a better game -

- potential for big screen TVs
- not having to sit around a computer
- multiplayer is obviously better (except for the internet of course)
- better controllers

I'd rather have it on console for these reasons - but I agree the PC version would give an improved performance.

- Maybe it's big screen tv's, but you can(t go higher than a 640x480 resolution...+ with a tv out you can still play pc games on your tv...
