Both have problems, especially FIFA!!!!:mad: Stupid MF game messed up MS DOS 4 me!!! But no one will help or say anything so I may decided to drop the curtains of FIFA games:mambo:

Seriously though. Try playing Winning Eleven 6, or even PES. To be honest it sounds like Fifa is crap, your right. And PES is probably a bit too difficult for you.

Can't even belive myself leaving a post here.

Well, only one thing made me come here.

I've got a chance to sit down and seriously play my FIFA2002 (which I belive is basically the same as WC2002).
Only because I've left my WE6 back at home.
Needed another footie to entertain me.

I've actually tried hard to find a way to like this game.... but this is crap!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I tried so hard for hours and days trying to figure out
- why people play this game
- why people go around making kits for this game
- why people make gameplay ini files, why make a fuzz playing this game period.

Using my common sense I assumed that there must be some entertaining value, which drive people to do anything related to this game, let alone playing it.

After days of hours wasted and boredom from playing FIFA2002 such frustration gave me a calling.... a calling to write how crap FIFA 2002 is.

- EA's stuff crap? ... YES!!!

I don't particuly like the game but some of the patches do seriously improve it, you should try some of them like the ball physics ones

I hate the fifa games there too damn easy

I was ill for two days early this week, never played FIFA 2002 since the demo came out. so stuck it in my PS2 (I got a copy with my PS2).

At first i thought ok its not too bad, the passing makes it a lot better. Then after a 10 minutes things started to get too me.

1) The controls are utterly SH1TE. They are cumbersome, all this analog balls it doesnt really work.

The high passes are weird to get working.

They got rid of the through ball, now I know they added pass strength but its not the same!

2) Graphics are ok but not great the players look weird, the faces all appeared deformed to me. PES faces are miles better. The pitch is awesome, but the stands are not.

3) the editing tool is pants.

Ok all the teams are there but if you are playing on a PS2 editing them is a ballache, with no updates available doing them all yourself is a royal pain in the as*.


The things that made FIFA good are now poor, and PES 2 with its customizable teams is gonna beat the cra* out of it. My advice sell your pC buy a cheaper sh one and buy a PS2 as well. More value for money!

ok... if u think that both r crap.. which footy game is better than PES or winning eleven... ?

as if they're crap, I play the demo of PES heaps more than I do the full of FIFA 2002 on my ps2. PES is so much more realistic and fun to play and you get to use actual strategies instead of just shoot from the same spot and scoring all the time.
