i've been playing fifa recently with the detail turned down to 50%.... that makes the players go all blocky... but if i turn the detail to 100% the fps decreases dramatically. i have :
pIII 800 mhz
128 mb ram
16 mb nvidia vanta.
soundblaster vibra 128.
i think its to do with my video card.. and i want to play smoothly with highest graphical detail... can anyone help me?!

1. check the version of directx which needs to be 7.0a or higher .
2.if u'r having xp , the minimum requirement is 128 RAM which u have. if u have xp ,the upgrade u'r RAM to 256 .

dirextX 8.1 is the latest version - see http://www.microsoft.com/windows/directx/default.asp

im using win 98... and i got the latest version of directx.. which seems to be 8.1.. as well as the latest nvidia detonator drivers.

well my guess is this:

you have too little ram, upgrade it.
also you might have a lot of taskbar applications running, if u do minimise the number of them as much as possible, they slow windows down and use memory.

thats all I can think of for now.
