Mine sometimes connects at 52000, 50667 but mostly connects at 14770 bps..............

AND

Anybody here uses ISDN, Broadband, Cable or something?
If yes, how is it......? IS IT Good............

Depending on where it is, it is between 30kbps and 300kbps (if it's an australian site).

mines too ****in slow. Usually dials up somewhere round 44,000 bps.
But hopefully soon i will be able to get a decent broadband connection.

but of course it's never used at its top capabilities as i'm not the only one on the line :p

To be concrete i usually go at 700 k/s on good sites, can go up to +/- 900. But for upload i can't go faster than 20 k/s :/

yup same for me. the network is described as a 10mb/s cable network, but there's many, many more users on the network so you have to share bandwith. On Kazaa, when downlaoding from a good user I can get up to 500kb/s. People downloading from me is always hyper fast, that really makes me jealous so I don't share :D. On the internet with a download accelerator, it's also going with around 500kb/s. But I'm already happy when I see speeds of 50kb/s.

oh man, I am lucky to get 3kb/s :p

friggin... i use adsl 512 kbps.... yet when i download the most i seem to get is 60 kbs a seconds... wtf is with that?

then what u'r internet speed....

I upload at 40 maybe 60 sometimes, and with DAP I got a maximum of 240 I think.

its really fast specially for download movies.

Hmmm. Mine is a cable modem and since I downloaded GTA 3(please mods, don't ban me:( ) in about 10 minutes, I'd say it's pretty fast.

512/9= ~56
so getting 60kb/s is right
and we all know with ADSL u dont get 512 but u get 576 so thats 64kb/s

lior thanks for that... but im really jealous when i go to my friend's house and see him download at 300 kbs a second using his cable.. 60 kbs is nothing compared with 300kbs.

that should be VERY obvious . . . there is a solution to that. Beat his computer up with a very very big blunt object :D
