add the flags, badges, players, and all the things that a new team needs?.. maybe you forgot something than can make your game crash

yes i did. I added flags, and kits.
but later i found the problem, somthing was wrong with the kit number. The editor creates kit numbers from 3000 and above. and that chrashes the game!! how to fix it, i don't know.

BTW: How do u import a team badge?? I tried with fed but it didn't work at all! In EA graph i didn't find the team number at all!!

help
thanks

I've had a few problems trying to create a team in FCDB, maybe you guys can help.

Did you try to create the team in the Creation Centre folder using FCDBxp2 and then move it to the Rest of World folder? Or did you create the team in the Creation Centre and then try to use FCDB to move it from the CC folder to the RoW folder?

Is there some template flags, badges etc. that can be used until real badges and flags are made?

What's the best way of creating a team in FCDB?

I've been able to move teams from one folder (ECC "no name" directory, English, French, German & Scottish 1st division teams) to both the Rest of World folder and the Other National Teams folder, modify player ratings and positions, and adjust team formations and lineups.

If someone knows the method on how to create new teams in FCDB, please post. Is there a way to make a complete copy of an existing team and pasting the copy into the Rest of World folder. For example, how would you make an identical copy of Moscow which can be found in the ECC "no name" folder and place that copy into the RoW folder so the ECC tourney won't get screwed up and the team is available for friendlies?

This FCDB xp2 seems to be working pretty well.

I made the team first in CC and moved it to RotW. Then tried to make it in the RotW folder, still had the same problem.

I found the problem (I think). The problem is with the kits. When you add a new team to the game, the editor creates kits numbers from 3000 and above. the game does not allow that. No mater if the folder is RotW or CC.
i dunno why, but i tried to add an existing kit to the newly made team and it worked!
Kit-numbers that are created by FCDB xp2 and FEd are not accepted by the game..... they make them from 3000 and above. and this crashes the game....

this is a problem which I have, i am not sure if anyone else has this problem, so I woun't blame the editor makers. but I hope they will help me fix this.

PS! When I make a team with an editor, how the hell can I add a badge?? the team is not in the data\flags\feart folder at all!! and Fed woun't add a badge!
thanks

Maniac, what number did you assign to the kit files that allowed them to work? Do you just have to give the newly created team a new kit numbered 3000?

well.. When I created a new team I got the number 3001, which also goes for kits.
So I used FCDB xp2 and changed the kit number to 344 (I think, I just guessed a number lower than 1000) and it worked. BUT!!!
That kit belonged to a allready made team (I think it was Sigma Olomouc) so if you change the look of this kit Sigma will also have the same kit as your new team :(

this here is a really big mess!! if you manage to fix one problem another will show up!

It worked for me... My kit and flag number is 3001. The team badge is not necassary. I used miss germany universe 2002 pics as my flags! :D I've even added commentaries for my team. Here's what i did:
I used Fed2002 to add a team in the rotw group.
Save.
And then edit everything else using fcdb xp. It's easier to use.
The flags and kits are already created by fed2002.

yes, same here. I talked to Sylvain the creator of FCDB xp2. he told me that my kits database was meessed up, so I just copyed the real one from the CD. and walla! everything works perfectly!!! Now my kits are from 1999 and above! the way it should be!
It's wise to use both Fed and FCDB, but I think that FCDB is much better since it can do so many more things!!! great!!

It's just that team-badge importing is missing!!!
