i have a question about this pic i'm posting here.
as many of you may know, voodoo5 has 64MB memory. but when i open directx setup, it says "30.5 MB". i wanna know WHAT THIS SETUP ACTUALLY SHOWS. what does this "30.5 MB" mean?? only half of the 64MB are available or what? :(

Don't trust on that sill DXDIAG..............
If U want, u might wanna check it by going to ur System Information by left clicking ur My Computer.........
No cause voodoo has 2 chips.2 32 mb chips.;) This why it shows 30.5!

Even my card is 8MB.......it shows 5.2MB in DXDIAG but 8MB in System Information......:rolleyes: strange
my card has 16 mb ram and dxdiag says it has only 15, so there must be a bug with that direct x tool:o

I very much doubt it . . . I think its just something we have to accept . . . those numbers could mean something different . . ? :confused:
