Everyone's talking about how rough it is to win in Prof and International mode, how dificult to keep possesion e.t.c.

No patches, No attachements, no utilities.
Two changes in file ini.big, and unless you are an amatuer begginer, you 'll find your way to win.

I changed the settings you suggested in the ini.big file. but my game crashes unless I restore the original settings.

Try using a hex editor like "frhed".

I 'm sure you 'll see the difference.

Those used to solve the problem for me on Fifa 2002, because they basically strip the game back to amateur level, but on World Cup 2002, i have more of a problem with cheating AI.

For instance, the computer players do block tackles which win the ball despite being nowhere near it, and actually perform block tackles on men i am passing to a moment before the pass actually leaves my boot (because the computer knows i pressed the button) It also occasionally stops my striker from moving when he is clean through on goal.. yes he literally just stands there until the defender steals the ball and then i get the control back!!!

The worst one is the so called "normal" passing model, which should allow me 360 degree passing on an analogue pad, but about 80% of passes go straight to the opposition, and not in the direction i was holding the pad at all.. it's really annoying!!

The game is too easy on Amateur or Beginner and too damn cheating on Professional.. i'm scared to try World Class!!

PS does anyone know what the Wall passes on L3 option in the ini file does, or how to turn on shielding with R1?? I am using a playstation joypad but they still dont work on the pc version.

The change to the better is obvious.

Ball possesion is very increased.
Ball stealing is now possible :D
Winning the World Cup is a feasible target.

i havent tried u'r idea yet charlie , but for me the best way to enjoy THIS game is to play with a free and a cool mind.well if u think u will win with real football tactics, then u will never win even one game (pro and w.class level). do more slide tackles,become aggresive . never be on the defensive . i play that way and i have also won a world cup in world class mode . play freely do not care about possesion etc . just attack and then all will really enjoy this game and win too.

I see that you have a little video every time you post. How do you need to save the file in order to put a video on the post?
