Hi, I have a problem. Whenever I start playing Cm 01/02, the monitor starts to flivker badly. I think it is starting to affect my eyes badly and I never had that problem before. Could anyine tell me how I could solve this problem?:(

Well there are a number of things which you could try.

Firstly, make sure you have downloaded the latest version of CM01/02, v3.9.65, which you can get from http://www.sigames.com/downloads_view.php?id=233

Next try adjusting your monitor's refresh rate. You can do this by going to Start > Settings > Control Panel > Display > Settings > Advanced > Monitor. Now try changing the refresh rate to another value, and try running CM again. Do this for every entry in the drop-down list. If it works, press OK and restart your computer. Otherwise, put it back to the orginal setting.

If still no luck, try looking in your CM directory (usually C:\Program Files\Championship Manager 01-02\) for a file called cm0102_GDI.exe and run that. If it works then create a shortcut for that file on your desktop or Start Menu (or wherever), and use that from now on instead of the normal cm0102.exe executable.

One last thing you could try is running CM in windowed mode instead of full-screen mode.
